Long before ME2, but during the time when the Tali thread actually had posts, people were throwing around that a magazine confirmed that Tali was infact a Geth set to betray Shepard and her personality was that of a long dead Quarian who lived hundreds of years ago. Successful troll was successful.

That would have actually been pretty cool if it were another character.

A real geth wouldn't do that, they'd want to avoid suspicion.

Just better to call him 29 in general, I think. He was essentially dead/unconscious so those 2 years shouldn't count.

What's "technically?" His cellular age? His chronological age? The length of time he's been alive and breathing?

I think the easiest way to define Shepard's age is 29 going on 31 .

EDIT: November 11 is also Veteran's Day / Armistice Day (for WWI) which is likely why it is also Polish Independence Day (since before WWI Poland was divided between Russia, Austria, and Germany).
