 The Trick

*Shepard looks at overflowing trash can from behind his data pad*
Shepard: Honey, the trash needs to be taken out.
Tali: I think it is your turn Shep.
*Shepard scratches chin trying to remember who took the trash out last. He raises an eyebrow and looks at Tali who is folding laundry on her lap next to him while they sit on the couch*
Shepard: I thought I took it out last?
*Tali smirks under her helmet*
Tali: No sweetie, I did.^_^
Shepard::wub: Okay, let me take care of it.
*Shepard walks over to trash can and takes it outside*
Tali: I can't believe he bought that.:pinched:

Really?  That lowered my opinion of her.  Her whole thing was loyalty.  She's loyal to the death for what she believes in.  Well clearly not.  :?

I get the good side of turning your back on Cerberus, but after all that they've done for Miranda, its just a massive betrayal by her.  I don't see how you can trust her going forward personally.

And you guys are keeping me on the fence as far as whether I should kill offMiranda or not. Her quitting Cerby isn't enough for me to trust her. I remember when I first saw her in the trailers I thought (She has to be a spy or someone that stabs you in the back). I usually stick with what my truthiness tells me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating killing her off.  I just have two levels of trust.  There's one group that I would gladly put my life in their hands no matter what, and another that I would prefer to be able to kick off my team for ME3.  I wouldn't kill them or anything, but everyone is expendable really, I don't want someone who will put the Alliance's goals over mine, or someone who would idiotically try and kill me for making renegade decisions.

With Miranda, Cerberus has done way more for her than I've ever done for her.  How can I be sure that she won't find something new to be loyal to at a later date?

Also of note, she doesn't quit Cerberus because of what they did.  She was with them for all of their horrible experiments and acts.  The period from the start of ME2 until the end of it, Cerberus is pretty damn heroic.  And that's when she decides to betray them.

No, but real Tali seems to be looking more upwards while mirror Tali is looking down.

Kate would have made the *perfect* Bastila though, if she did play as Tali, I won't complain. Though it might mess with my mind a bit, voice thing and all. But she is luscious. :D

And uhhh... the above about EDI and all... that's just me.
But you gotta admit, it would be something EDI would do. :P

I thought Bastila already did kind of look like Kate Beckinsale. It's my favorite performance by Jennifer Hale no doubt, but if Bioware's gunna go with the space elf thing (which I think they do), she's just gunna have the most perfectly trimmed eyebrows and the most anatomically attractive face you've ever seen.

I actually hope that I'm wrong.

And I must have skipped over that EDI part lol go figure....well she IS taking on human characteristics...and Joker is...Joker :P

But that's a no-brainer, since they say that they need someone to hack the doors.

Jacob and/or Garrus can lead both teams.

Just saying she's not completely full of sh*t.

She isn't.
Just have to see past her "anything anyone can do I can do better because I was bio-engineered!" mentallity.
Its that part that gets most people, though ample applicarion of boobs and tush helps to make people forget.
Still...
I gave her props for giving TIM the middle finger. Raised her value in my eyes with that one act. Otherwise, I'd find some way to leave her on the collector ship.

Think of it this way. She was used by TIM and by extention Cerberus because of her sister's / Father's situation. Listen to what she tells you when she speaks of Cerberus, of TIM and of what she percieves they have done for her and her sister.
Until you came along and proved that you didn't care if she was of "use" (how ironic is that?!) and helped her anyways to rescue her sister.
She began to see things not just from the perspective that she always had, that Cerberus was the end all, be all for humanity. She must have at some point come to realise that Cerberus and in particular TIM was using her just as her father would.

There is loyalty borne of trust, then there is just blind loyalty. She had the latter, Shepard gave her the option of the former.

Earth.

I suppose I should've been more clear, the blue glow of a pre-rising sun. When its light isn't directing impacting my surroundings, but its light is scattering on the atmosphere and everything kinda has a blue-ish glow.

So she quits because of you? Seems like a leap of faith on Miranda's part, since she was cold to me through the whole playthrough, and needed to remind me that her boss was more important than you (who is also her boss), well what if I go rogue? Miranda goes rogue, WHAT? I don't even like you.

It's like Ashley getting all dramatic even though you romanced her. WTH Ashley it's me you love me why are you doing this.

Miranda in ME3 is going to be just like ME2...all business, "gotta type this status report". The only reason I would want to "kick her off" as you say would be that her combat AI sucks. Other than that, why wouldn't you want her on the ship just waiting for you to mess with her head? :innocent:

You do make me feel like she isn't a good part of the team. Samara has her Code and there's plenty of weirdness going on, but at least Samara likes my Shepard. Miranda's like the only non-team player.

Tali: Wait, so they mock him because he sells shoes?

Shepard: Yeah, isn't it hilarious?

Tali: I don't get it. People who provide any kind of apparel are highly respected among my people.

A few good episodes and Tali and Sheperd will be glad that they can't have children.
