No it doesn't. It doesn't work like a 50's construction site either.

It's actually scientificly possible for this to happen. the gametes of the dextro recieving partner could recieve a virus that ruins the ability to differentiate between DNA strands. Well let's not get into this. Besides I hate kids in KOTOR, don't want 'em in ME3.

Also assuming that quarians and humans are even that compatable. Besides, the DNA strand of a human is vastly different from that of any other creature, the closest is primates and they still come far. Part of what identifies a species is the ability for two subjects of the same species being able to reproduce, there are very few exceptions but that does not dicredit the arguement that inter-species reproduction is even possible.

Am neutral on subject of possibility of children between Shepard and Tali.

But do not wish to discuss further. Arguments get tiresome.

No he is right, absolutelty everything is possible in some way. Given that certain circumstances are unlikely to ever happen that does not mean that it is impossible.

So do you like throwing together a bunch of words that sound smart but aren't relevant? The problems with impregnating a quarian would start at a much simpler level than having different genes.

Even if something is like 0.000001%, it's still a possibile.

I figured it out!

Nano-shotguns!

We contruct billions of tiny, nano-shotguns for each of Tali's white blood cells! Her immune system will be unstoppable!

It's so hard to try and not reply to this seriously.... Tali would obviously be a gigantic shotgun after that, her immune system would obviously form itself into the ultimate preventative!

.....
-On Shepard's Bed-
Tali: I love you Shepard <3

Shepard: I love you too, Tali <3   Come here...

--Meanwhile--

White Blood Cells:  FOREIGN OBJECT!
-shotgunblast-

Shepard: -screams in pain-  OHMYG-

What if Tali gets a defect in her body that allows her to be impregenated by ANYBODY? Let's say she's pregnant with a human-Quarian baby. What will happen? will the blood cells attack it like in humans with foreign blood type?

The fact im for Bioware waving their magic wand and allowing for there to be a Tali-Shep baby inhibits me to reply to this.

Doctor: Ive never seen anything like this in the uarian DNA structure.
Tali: *gulp* What? Is that a bad thing?
Doctor: I wouldnt say bad, it is very rare, but it seems it would allow the genes of which are structureed differently...
Tali: What are you saying?
Doctor: It would appear your "eggs' would be able to accept that of another race.
Tali: Oh! You mean me and Shepard could...
Doctor: Yes, Ive no idea what would come of it, but yes... Id be very careful it could mean your immune system could still attack the egg after creation.

Beside, even if it was possible, Tali's 24. I doubt that she wants to settle down with kids already.

Azint is right. Just because something has a very,VERY low chance of happening, it's still possible.

Chirality was not addressed, I'm talking about genetic coding. It's extremely unlikely that an aliens DNA would have any sort of resemblance to that of a human. It's too farfetched to happen because of the incompatability when it comes to the alleles determining what would make what in a developing embryo.

The only remotely feasible way for Tali/Shep to have a kid is if you got Tali's DNA, and mixed it up with artificially created "quarian version" of Shepard's DNA, that mimics his traits. Anything that can't be "translated" will just use Tali's DNA.

Even then it's not really a Tali/Shep kid. It'd be a Tali clone with traits that mimic Shepard's.
