Not necessarily. Quarian physiology might be different, more durable. Possibly more resistant to miscarriages, bleeding, etc. in the event of sex during pregnancy.

That's right. It can just be a dream. A very disturbing dream.

Why hasn't it occurred to anyone that Tali could just be impregnated via a sperm donor? Or, they could adopt. It wouldn't have to be Shepard's baby, per-se.

Kal has a secret love for Tali, but sees she's with Shepard.  He also has the misfortune of being a soldier during a time when soldiers have a high chance of dying.  He puts in his will to be a sperm donor to Tali and makes Shep swear to raise any resulting kids as if they were his own.  And of course, he dies...

Done in one.

Just think, for the rest of their lives they'll be able to do whatever they want whenever they want, thanks to not having to take care of a kid.
