Yeah I've seen that too.

Fortunately, at least they gave themselves a way to retconn it some, by acknowledging that it's possible for consuming opposite chirality protein could "at best" not cause any problem; it would just get ignored by the body.

Ignoring the fact we already have a vague idea what she looks like, Bioware knows they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they made her completely unattractive.

She won't because she we already know the rough characteristics of the Quarian face. I didn' come into the romance for her appearance, so no I won't be bent out of shape.

This, there's pretty much no chance she comes out hideous.

On the subject though, I would be mad, and question Bioware's motives, but it wouldn't sour me on her character as a whole.  Her face is just a part of her character, and the rest is pretty damn awesome

With all of this having been gone through, it doesnt seem like it would be an imensly hard  thing to manipulate... No im not trying to get on peoples nerves... It would take massive time to do, btu I could imagine the dextro and amino acid base could be manipulated to be either or after a period of time if they both must have existed with each other at one point... Man, how I wish Bioware could put out more information as to allow further speculation.

It's been fairly well established in one of the novels that they're reasonably human-like under the masks.

Need to relax man, life goes on and you still live. All is good. Look at it like that and nothing will ever disappoint you... unless you listen to rap, then I dont know what could comfort  you then.
