The whole Vorcha comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, though it does cross my mind now and then :-P

We've discussed Tali's face like a million times. Most of us aren't worried about it, because we know the following:

• She has human-like face. We know its basic structure is the same as a human's (mouth, eyes, nose, etc.). We also know (Ascension book) that they have eyelids, teeth, lips, and tear ducts.
• Bioware won't go out of their way to make her ugly. It's a bad decision in nearly every aspect. She may not blow everyone out of the water, but it's a given that Bioware will at least try  and make her decent looking.

Err Phil725...a hideous-under-the-mask Tali (and Quarian) would pretty much ruin the whole Shepard/Tali romance thing without totally wrecking the rest of her mystique.



In any case (fortunately) the romantic choices for the (male) Shepard have all been attractive female types with very human-like features so unless a Bioware programmer had a twisted sense of humor, Tali isn't a Vorcha in a mask.

It's not going to ruin the romance. If all we cared about were looks there are other romance interests. Tali could be incredibly homely and I am still going to continue the romance. The other ones don't exactly interest me, not that I was ever tempted.
