Yeah, I wrote one about her having some childhood toy called Chikktika. 

I think the concept is sound, that she may have lost a couple sentimental things when the Normandy got attacked.

If the bed gets plenty of use, does it really matter if it's pink or grey?  Seems like that might be more important to some people's self-respect.

Agreed, she seems like she wouldn't fit into most stereotypes of women that we know of.  She's a different species for one, and her upbringing is completely different as well.

OSDs containing manuals. Wallhangings similar to Inara's shuttle. Various souveniers from previous missions. Holos of Tali's family members. Perhaps holos of downtime with crew.

So far as changes to the Cabin room, I'd wager that seeing her engineering tools lying around would be most likely, maybe a framed picture of her. It may also be possible for them to render a picture of Shepard and Tali together.
