The intimidate option has Shepard calling out their shenanigans. Tali still loves the way he shouts.

Getting her exiled actually gives you some very interesting and mixed reactions.

Don't know if there's anyone here who could completely renegade Tali.
It's just not possible.

The intimidate option is more badass than the charm option.  You still get the I got better line, and the "Its fun watching you shout," line makes more sense

As for the lower right option, thats reserved for the scum of the earth, don't lump renegades in with the scum

You're weird canned, my typical ME1 team is a soldier shepard with Tali and Liara, Liara's pretty damn useful with all her biotic powers.

No, but I saw it on Youtube.

Shepard wasn't assy about it. He did it for her sake. So at least there's that.

But Tali was upset about it--and pessimistic over the suicide mission. Saying it was unlikely they were even going to come back alive, so not getting exiled served no point; something like that.

I usually take Garrus and Tali to Feros.

The red text option is pretty epic, too.  Exile isn't so bad, except that the Flotilla hates her if you talk to them afterwards.  The only tremendously sh*tty thing to do is the lower-right option.  Then you should not be allowed to live.

What's really funny is that alot of people who did that to Tali felt so horrible afterwards they couldn't go through with it, even if they didn't like or care for her, they just got her exiled, still mean but it really shows that turning i that evidence is quite possibly the most heartless thing you can do in Mass Effect.

Why yes, I am quite weird. Thank you for noticing.

Anyway, I normally play as a biotic so Liara was not too useful to me. By the time I started trying different classes (soldier or tech) I had played the game enough to not be too interested in Liara by that point.
Only romanced her because I liked Ashley less, but that's another story.
