Shepard: Tali. Come look at this...
*Tali walks over, sliding her arms around his neck as she leans against him.*
Tali: What is it?
Shepard: I just got this message. Apparently a film studio is doing a documentary on inter-species relationships and they want us to answer a few questions.
Tali: What? How did... How do they even know?
Shepard: I'm not sure... But they are calling us "the premier inter-species power couple of this generation."
Should only be one or two left. Unless I'm posting minific in my sleep.

Second place definately has to go to Garrus's though. For me at least.
Sitting in that car, talking to Garrus, felt like a cop buddy movie/ Clint Eastwood film.
That's a very badass combination.
I gotta admit, it felt a little weird sitting in that car, discussing killing that guy, while Tali sat there in the back, not saying anything.
It kinda felt like... her big bros were discussing 'taking care of business.' The only time I ever got a "little sis" vibe from Tali.
And even then it wasn't really her fault--just how the mission was.
Which is why I ALWAYS take Tali on that mission. She stay's silent, letting Garrus and Shepard talk it out... but when the car zooms away and the camera looks at Tali's face, you can tell she's giving Shepard that "I'm worried about him, Shepard", look.
That brief moment just doesn't work with anyone else.

Both Tali's recruitment and loyalty mission were amazingly well done.
But yeah, her loyalty just blew everything else out of the water if you ask me. Just damn. Most entire games or movies don't pack that much emotion, or even close to it.
Agreed. Maybe this is just me having a biased point of view, but it seemed like more time and effort went into Tali's loyalty mission; in length, production, and acting.
As heart-wrenching as it all it, it's also my favorite part of the game.
Yeah, really makes me feel that the dev team really likes Tali. They seriously went all out on her loyalty mission. It really seems like it was the one that the most work went into.

*Shepard and Garrus stand in the armory, inspecting equipment for an upcoming mission. Garrus turns to Shepard before checking the sights on his sniper rifle.*
Garrus: So... You and Tali?
*Shepard ejects an old thermal clip from his pistol before turning to Garrus.*
Shepard: You noticed?
*Garrus shrugs, placing the rifle back on the table.*
Garrus: Well, you just confirmed it.
*Shepard grins, replacing the pistol's thermal clip. The two friends share a long silence.*
Garrus: Can I just say that it's about damn time?
Extended!
*Shepard laughs. He smiles as he turns to Garrus.*
Shepard: Were we both that obvious?
Garrus: You two were inseperable! I'm amazed it took you both as long as it did.
*Another shared silence.*
Garrus: Can I ask you something?
*Shepard places the pistol back on the table before crossing his arms, his full attention on Garrus.*
Garrus: What does she look like?
*Shepard raises an eyebrow.*
Shepard: I don't kiss and tell, Garrus.
Garrus: Oh come on! You can tell me!
Shepard: Joker's got his betting pool up and running again?
Garrus: Shepard... I've got a whole lot of money riding on this.

I think I liked his recruitment mission more. My first time through was great; seeing 'Archangel' for the first time, all I could think was: "Please let that be Garrus, Please let that be Garrus, Please let that be Garrus, OHMYGODIT'SGARRUS!!!!!!!!"
And then follow that up with him getting hit by a rocket and laying bleeding on the floor when my brain was going; "Oh ****! Oh ****! Oh ****"
I was scared he was gonna die!
I loved both of his missions.
First time I saw him take that rocket... I thought he was a goner for sure... I got chills.
Should've known it'd take more than a missle to the face to keep Garrus down. Tough sonufa****.

the first time I did garrus' recruitment mission was one of my best experience in ME2. Talking to the merc leader and finding inch by inch information about this ''archangel'' (finding out he's a turian, etc etc). My doubt about him being Garrus builted up as I progressed through the mission until you get the cutscene where you assault the bridge and he snipe the guy just in front of you. When I saw that armor I was ''OH ****, that is Garrus no friggin doubt about it'' He was my fav character in ME1, was so glad to see him there.

well Tali's loyalty mission is more "important" than other ones as is not only a "personal mission", but one that will show us the Quarian society and a glimpse of the migrant fleet and various plans for the future so i think it is normal that there was more time/effort involved in it to make it "feel right"

Indeed. Look at any other loyalty mission; nearly each one is: get from point A to point B and kill everything along the way. The only acceptations are Samara, Grunt (kinda), and Tali.
And Tali's is the longest of the three.
There's either a lot of people in BioWare who love Tali or one guy REALLY high up the corporate ladder. Either way, I improves our chances of ME3 Tali-ness. <3

I knew it was Garrus right when he said "turian"

I believe Patrick Weekes wrote Tali's character in 2.
Which would make a lot of sense. He posts on the forums whenever he has the time to spare. He knew VERY well that he had to do the character justice.
I'm glad he succeeded.
