Waaaaiit a minute. By linking this poll, does that mean I'm the new rune? Because I don't want the job.
Nah, nothing wrong with posting it to bring it to people's attention. Just don't post it 5 times a page for 12 hours

Naah, if you were Rune you would be pouting and changing your name twice a day.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Well, the truth is that most of the ME2 squad (excluding Samara/Morinth, Thane because of his disease and the DLC squadmates) have no reason to leave or nowhere else to go, so i can't see how they wont be in ME3, unless Bioware do something incredibly stupid like kill them, which will cause a ****storm bigger than anything i can imagine
Well you recruited them to stop the collectors from taking humans. Wasn't that mission achieved? Jack said she's gunna "survive it, then split".
I know the squaddies plan on returning, but it's still sorta like "wtf" from a plot standpoint. Jack hates me cuz I romanced Tali while just being friendly. There's no way she'd stay with my Shepard
She wanted to turn the Normandy into a pirate ship, too.
That's not going to happen.

This guy's doing a whole bracket. And I suspect that the furor over K-swiss has died down a little so this might be a more accurate poll.Goat_Shepard wrote...
Wait a minute, aren't we experiencing deja-vu? Didn't chewy create this exact same poll 2 weeks ago?
Oooh, they switched the word "attractive" with "hot"

SOME squaddies have an easy way to be written out. Jacob, Miranda, Garrus, Tali, Grunt are written in as though they have literally nowhere else to go.
I can. It loves me more.mikethor007 wrote...

Jack changes a lot as the game goes on. I think by the end, she actually relishes the opportunity to actually be able to help people, even if she doesn't want to admit it.

It might have been fun. But I'd prefer not to have to live on the run.Rakia_Time wrote...

Getting fat and rich until the reapers annihilate you isn't a great idea. Being completely freelance and not listening to Cerberus or the council is a good idea. So she was half right

Even if that's the case, "I have nowhere else to go" is a pretty weak reason to stay, because that applies to almost everyone on the ship.

I think a lot of the "easy outs" that the characters have is BW hedging their bets. That way if the character didn't gain any traction with the fans, they can reduce their role without it comig out of nowhere.Goat_Shepard wrote...

True. And as Buddha said Jack has nowhere else to go, either. Thane and Samara are interesting though. Thane is a LI so he's gunna have more of a chance to be in ME3 than Samara..what was Samara's purpose? Now we got Liara who's just like her...except she has singularity...oh, maybe you can have both of them just with different skills?
I think it would be interesting, living as a Pirate... teach those Batarians a lesson, slaving and all... Raid cerberus bases.NuclearBuddha wrote...

I'm not talking about just waiting for the reapers, my idea is that saving the galaxy costs money, piracy is one good way to get it
Heh. She got like that to me. The next playthrough I closed off her romance by telling her it wasn't going to happen. Felt a little bad, but it seeme dlike she was okay with that.Goat_Shepard wrote...
I must have missed some dialogue from Jack, cuz after she cursed at me for "coming down here a lot but always making other stops" referring to Tali..I pretty much said "bye" to her hidey hole
Not sure that Grunt really wants that, though. He seems pretty bent on tagging along with his adoptive "dad."mikethor007 wrote...
Grunt does have somewhere to go if you do his loyalty mission. Clan Urdnot. Look at the emails sometime after his mission and you'll get one from the clan shaman telling you that they need him and you better take care of him.
