I look at it like the ME2 squad going into ME3.  They could justify writing her out if they had wanted too then, but what was their motivation to do so?  Tali and Garrus are the only real link to ME1 in ME2.  They would have had to come up with a believable quarian squad mate to continue the geth/quarian conflict, and they would have still had to give Tali a cameo role.  Isn't that a huge mess?  A lot easier to just bring back Tali and continue developing that character, make the ME1 crowd happy, and move on.

They could've just added Kenn. You know? Convince him to work for that 1000 credits you can give him on Omega.

A believable quarian to recruit is harder to do than you think.  Quarians suck at fighting.  Tali is really the only acceptable one that we know of going into ME2, since she helped stop Saren.  They would have had to make up the backstory to some random hero quarian or something.  Not sure how it would have turned out, but I'm confident saying they made the right decision.

I truly hope you get the time to play Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, my advise is to avoid any romance in ME1 and pursue Tali in ME2. In any case exhausting all dialog options with Tali (and Legion) reveals a lot of the Geth background.



It is odd, but Legion feels more "human" than some of the human characters in the games, very subtle emotions in Legion, a cold robotic tone would have ruined the character, so would a too human voice. You managed to find just the right balance.

You have easily surpassed HAL, nice work.

That tends to happen when all rendering is concentrated onto a single model.  IE. in game renders need to be spread across many more things and texture quality (among other things) is greatly reduced for the sake of performance.
