The only thing he should be concerned about is if someone tries to profit from it some how, takes credit for it, etc.

Hehe. A fair point, Jake. Just looking back over the past 2 years and a lot of things have changed for me and with me. Even more so going back 7 years, nevermind when I was 18!

On an unrelated note, if anyone wants into the StarCraft 2 beta, all you need to do is preorder the game at Gamestop and they'll give you a key to get in. If you already have it preordered, just call them up and they'll give you a key.

Hm. I'm comfortably on the fence with this one. I agree with both points of view to an extent. Free exposure can be a boon as long as others aren't profiting from it without paying royalty fees, etc. On the other hand, one's work can also be misrepresented, placed out of context, or used in a manner that the creator of it may not agree with and which may affect the creator's reputation for better or worse without his/her express consent. That too is something that I personally think needs to be taken in to consideration as well.

If he is concerned about the context, he should perhaps avoid placing it where it can be misused.  I.e. the internet.

TBH, he is the artist, its his art, he can do what he wants with it, but seriously unless we were using his art to make money without acknowledging him or or someone else called it their own I don't see the reason for getting so butthurt.

It would have been completely overboard. Like you wouldn't have even been able to see his drawing.
