Yeah, I figure her mask's reflection (or lack of one) is just a technical limitation. But without a background, any kind of reflection beyond a few blobs of light to show off the mask's glassy material makes your brain get slightly confused.

I just looked up a random picture of Shepard...and yeah, his eyes were more slate colored than the deep blue I've seen in some areas. Damn, Shepard's got some mood eyes going.

This situation is up to debate. Quarians could refer to either the race or the political entity that encompasses that race. The second option means it should be capitalized.

with more reflection it will also be more difficult to see her facial profile, in particular her shiney! eyes (no more death gaze for jacob)
