War is a terrible idea for the quarians, for multiple reasons.

I don't think war will be necessary either. Most of the quarians who are pro-war, are only in favor of it because they think it's the only way to get their homeworld back. No one in the galaxy except Shepard knows that the geth are open to peace.

The geth don't even use the planet, so I think the quarians getting their home back peacefully is an extremely real possibility.

Disagree. We have enough problems with the old machine.

Yeah, with our current technology.

Quarians in the 1800s were far, far more advanced than we are now.

They built a 20Km long space station, for example.

Quarians use to drive large bipedal tanks in battle. After they were exiled, they had to be salvaged for resources.

That's just speculation, but come on, there's no way quarians didn't dabble with the concept.

It goes seem like something Quarians would do, but it seems biped travel units are  rather inefficeint compared to others such as multi-link treads or the sextuple linked wheel system.

It is ineffecient for long distances, but it provides great mobility and adaptability to terrain.

But then again, the did make the geth.

Cheers Goat & Owen.

I haven't published it yet because I'm still working on creating more compositions before compiling them in order to attempt to place an album online. My aim is also to allow people to download individual pieces though if I have my way those who opt to buy the whole album will be able to get each song at a discounted price compared to buying each song individually. We'll see where it ends. First I plan on making a few more pieces before having them brought to a sound studio and mastered for quality purposes. I'll also want to seek out legal counsel to ensure that all copyright details are in order (legally the creator of any IP is the legal owner from the moment of the IP's inception, but being able to clearly establish that in a court of law can be easier to do if certain measures are taken ahead of time). Also, I don't think I'll combine my movie/classical genre pieces with the more electronic pieces in the album, though they would likely still be made available separately.

Basically, yeah. That kind of music hits me right here <3 but I say screw the man points, who needs 'em *splashes water in eyes* am I supposed to be a man?! Am I supposed to..

Ahem..RPing over, I'll happily purchase that whole album. Will be scouring and stalking your youtube account from now on and awaiting progress reports. Damn legalities:bandit:

So, I came here and saw Owen. I instantly thought, "Ah crap."<_<

Then I saw everyone being all nice to him. I had to go back a few pages to figure out what was going on.

Anyway, welcome to the Tali thread Owen!:wizard:

Fixed.

Ever occur to you that Quarian may be a smaller species of Prawn?

I hear no clicking when they speak.

And the presence of noses is a good indicator.

Also, the quarians didn't fail nearly as spectacularly.

Besides, when Tali and Shepard had sex, Shepard would have eventually turned into a prawn.

This is true, I imagine Quarian tech would fix a lot of this... I'm not able to find any pictures for the linked 2 wheel/tread systems I found when I was doing my researchImage IPB

Unwise. War with the geth nearly drove the quarians to extinction once. They have only grown weaker since then. As Kal'Reegar said, full-scale war with the geth is impractical. The quarians lack the resources to fight such a war and there is always the immune system problem.

Not to mention the upcoming war with the Reapers.

yes i have to agree with this, the few quarians that do (like the one admiral, who's name i can't think of right now) just want the world, and revenge against the geth, i don't like the war idea at all, thats what i told them during tali's loyalty mission

Hm. Possibly, yet the advantages of appendages/limbs over wheels, etc. is the ability to navigate difficult terrain....In which case more insect-like design structures (ex. spider-like) might be even more proficient at such tasks.

I've been writing a Talimance fanfiction for sometime and have updated my new entries countless times though always at poor timings:blush:, but i make due with the few people who actually read it.B)

Yes, quad support system isnt as reliable with current tech, but with Quarians tech lets assume it is possible... I would be very sure they would have chosen to use it over biped, even though it has a higher production/research cost it greatly outwieghs the biped mobility, even though it cannot theoretically travel at as great of speed, it can travel much rougher terrain.

Ok, google has let me down, but Yall know hwo the Centapede has a segmented body correct? Well the basic, most efficient high terrain travelable design is based on it and each segment has two wheel on each part, each segment being able to move up to 90% or so of each other allowing for complete drop offs and still keeping traction. It was a big thought when the military was trying to design an all purpose vehicle, but with todays tech it was far too expensive and would require a lot of research to make it able to carry the amount of weight they required.

Geth/Quarian War = Bad Idea
I need both the Migrant Fleet and the geth forces to fight the Reapers. Don't need a needless war decimating both forces while the Reapers are on the march towards the Milky Way.

No, but I can't wait... What are the new features? Streamlined interface? Free game for anyone who buys seven copies of Half life 2? I must know.
