I figured she has it because a knife is a good tool.  It never runs out of power or ammo, and it works better at cutting things than a gun.

I wouldn't want to take on a geth with a knife.  I mean, they look fairly... metallic.  If I had to, I guess I'd try to stick it right in their flashlight face.

Think of all the exposed wires.... ignoring that, the rest of my question is still valid. Do you think the Quarians have special hand-to-hand techniques to use against the geth? It seems like they should...

I only have *tapping his chest* me.

Shepard: "Ive had enough of your snide insinuations".

Ehh, its Emily giving the interwiew, she's the ONE reporter who would give Shepard the chance to speak what he thinks and not put words into his mouth. Same for Tali.
If it was Al-Jilani, this would be Shepard's reponse :
"Miss Al-Jilani, I never thought I'd peg you for a machoist, you really do like pain don't you?" *punch!*

Man KFD you haven't been assaulted by Mother Nature like I have!
Funnel Webs, Camel Spiders, Bears, Black Widows and now Squirrels:?
They're all out to get me

But I have had the dubious pleasure of having a fully grown baboon bar it's impressive rows of fang teeth at me while only sitting a couple of meters away in a wildlife reserve in Africa. With only open space between us. There was also the time one of our dogs was spat in the eye by a spitting cobra which had a hole in our yard. And then there was the time a tarantula spider scampered across our veranda and turned around and intimidated our dog which was probably at least 60 times its size (when it raised its fore legs our dog backed off quickly). Shall I continue with the tales of my family's time spent in Africa?

Yeah, Emily would have asked it in a way that didn't sound like she's trying to offend and I would bet, even on topics that are sensitive, she'd word it such that it'll give the speaker a chance to explain or give his / her perspective.
