The scene you describe brings to mind one of the final desparate fighting scenes in "Dog Soldiers" where one of the soldiers uses a frying pan against the advancing pack of werevolves. What a fantastic British budget horror movie that was IMO.

Pretty please? I want to know if the Geth had actually ever tried to talk for peace. Maybe I just missed it in Legion's conversation.

This.

Sroka is a monster voice actress. Makes me sad she hasn't had more roles...

I wouldn't go that far, but I do much prefer Liz. Maybe it's because latin based languages tend to be spoken faster and a bit wordier, but the Italian version is lacking a lot of those adorable pauses she makes while talking, that really show off her nervousness.

I noticed her voice is still filtered when Shepard takes off her mask in this one, though.

You have a very good point. The pace of the language just doesn't leave room for those great pauses.

There's a slight change in her voice when the mask comes off. But that's okay, I like that effect her voice has going.

I think the closest they ever get is when you bring Legion to talk with Zaal'koris, and even then, Legion doesn't seem too hot at the id, or at least, they hadn't attained ''consensus''

I wasn't being clear: the geth have only begun seeking outside contact two years ago in-game, to find Shepard. One of the first things Legion says is that the geth are open to peace, but Legion is the first geth to reveal this. The quarians generally hate the geth because they were taught to, history taught them, but the geth have changed, they are in fact sorry. No one knew this until Legion told Shepard, that was their first contact.
