do you think bioware will actually go through with the romance/mission pack? Do you think they'll actually make a profit off of it? I'm talking in all seriousness here but is there a market for such a DLC?

Despite his Alliance gene therapy, N7 training, cybernetic augmentations, ability to pop adrenaline rush.... he was utterly incapable of dodging the Quarian pounce attack.
Or perhaps, he simply chose not to.

Agreed, I wonder what Bioware could charge for this and get away with.
I don't see why not. Assuming that this board (and other forums that I've seen,) are a general representation of the rest of the people who bought ME2, the romance plot line is a huge deal to the average fan. A lot of people care about that more than the main story arc. People would line up to by a romance pack.
Plus, going off the Kasumi thing, they could add a few other incentives to make it worth it for people who may not be as big on the romances as others.

I just did the Tali romance for the first time.
The romance scene was disappointingly short. I think Tali deserved more than that.
Limitation of Bioware's decision to not give anything away regarding Tali's appearance. They really couldn't extend it more without showing her.
My (obviously biased,) opinion is that the love scene is great. You get an extremely adorable awkwardness from Tali as she approaches Shepard.
Then you have her final moment of hesitation before the mask comes off, and Shep sees her for the first time. You get the subtle smile from Shep basically assuring Tali that she's beautiful, and then Tali can finally let her emotions out. The end result being the quarian pounce
Ah, well, this is understandable, then. How I hate these limitations.
And it was certainly a pounce. It even surprised me. I didn't expect it.
Anyone else wish Shepard would've been able to say she was beautiful? I'd've liked that option. Though I'm sure many people just prefer the subtle touch...

Yeah it is.
I think her actions were her way of combating the nervousness; basically, she was being offensive as a form of defense.
Kinda like if you're running from an animal, and you decide to turn around and combat it. Yeah, you're still scared, but you're attacking it as a defensive reaction.

To be fair this forum is a poor judge of what they can and can't make a profit from. We represent only the nerdiest portion of the userbase, the ones who spend hours talking about a fictional character and the science and politics of a fictional world.
Granted this is an RPG so the least nerdy element of the gaming industry will never play this game, but it is foolish to assume that the forums for ME are a good judge of what is wanted. My brother never came on these forums and he hates both Tali and Garrus. They are his least like characters, stretching all the way back to ME1. Yet the Forums liked both characters to influence the dev's decisions.

I don't mind the subtlety of Shep's reaction. I think a line from him could work, but its a gamble. The biggest complaint about the love scene (aside from the whole face thing,) is Shep's "come here" line. It would be possible for something like "you're beautiful," to detract from the scene leading up the quarian pounce if done incorrectly.
