I've found that the more you stress over something, the worse you do. When I took my assessment test for my community college the first time I was stressing it a bit. I did well on the english portion but poorly on the math (got put in Pre-Algebra). The second time I took it I hadn't eaten anything for the past fourteen hours and I hadn't slept at all (literally at all, stayed up all night, zero hours of sleep) and I got put in the next highest math class.
For context, everyone gets put in Pre-Algebra. My brother's friends who came out of HS knowing Calculus AB got put in pre-algebra.
I took a test in History of African Art, and History of Western Art. I got the results back today, I did very well in everything but the written essay, I got half-credit because I forgot the name of the works we were writing about. I only get about 6-4 hours of sleep during week days, but I sometimes sleep in on weekends, I still function fine, I even have time to do some mile runs.
And math for me goes everywhere, I barely passed gemoetry and statistics, but I got some of the highest scores in algebra and trigonemetry. Granted that was in high school...
