Appologize. I know that most Americans aren't stupid. Just your airport security officials.

That may be true, but it can be said of anyone in a position of authority.  Cops get it, politicians get (mostly deservedly), militaries get it, everyone in a position of authority gets that same attitude thrust at them.

Besides, I would rather be strip searched than be let on a plane with a terrorist.  My life is more important than my dignity.
