It seems one very stupid man unleashed the OP of the Tali thread. It's also known as an area called "The Great Rift." We believe it was some kind of superweapon used to thwart an oncoming Reaper.

But if Shep tells Han'Gerrel "off the record" all she says about it is "you can never tell anyone, Han." It seemed like it was okay with her.

While we're on the subject of
Flotilla Admiralty:
Anyone else notice that while Tali doesn't mind
if you tell Han'Gerrel about her father's work (paragon option), she
chooses NOT to tell him if you take the neutral option. And he's from
her (former) ship.
No secrets between shipmates, huh?
Oooh that's cold. We might have to talk about this. I would do all of this if not for the load screens lol

Wrex may come back as well. He seems
pretty entrenchenched in Urdnot, but if he gets betrayed, he could come
back to you. 5 squadmates isn't much, but its enough to play a nice
dry, boring game.
But I definitely agree that the ME2 team will
be back. 97% sure is my current estimate [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie]
had 6 squaddies in ME1. Is it possible to not recruit Tali/Garrus/Wrex?
I seriously don't know [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/angel.png[/smilie][smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

I HIGHLY doubt that. I think everyone will have survived in default ME3. You'll just have taken the easiest path to gain loyalty.NuclearBuddha wrote...
I'm willing to bet that "default" Shep in ME3 will have a couple casualties on the team. Any guess who is might be? We can safely say that Miranda will survive...
Tali will be exiled, Grunt will have only survived the Thresher, not killed it, Sidonis will be dead, Thane's son will be in prison, ect.
How many of the characters have an "easy" route into loyalty?
Wait, what about Jack/Miranda and Tali/Legion? There's no neutral way to preserve both loyalties there.

So what you're saying is Shepard becomes Saren?cannedcream wrote...
Okay, so I've been thinking about what 'BIG THING' BioWare is going to do for ME3, how do you top the 'Shepard is Dead' teasers for the 2nd game? So here is what I came up with that might work for the game and would be a valid reason for ALL of the ME characters to join together.
Now, this is going to have more holes in it than Swiss cheese, but all I ask is that you consider the possibility:
As we all know the attack on the citadel has been covered up by people who simply refused to believe that Reapers exist. What if it's somehow decided that Shepard himself was responsible for the attacks maybe as a way to forcibly boost humanity standing (if you let the counsel die) or to force the seat of a human counsel member and Specter (by 'saving' the counsel from the attack). So, Shepard goes from being a hero to a terrorist (working with Cerberus wont help this) and he and all of his 'co-conspirators' (IE; the cast of ME1 & 2) are to be brought in by any means necessary.
Not only would this be a good reason to force characters like Wrex and Liara back into action, but it would add another element of trying to evade arrest (or execution) while preventing the return of the Reapers. It could also add some great missions like rescuing a captured team-mate.
Again, just throwing the idea out there. I wanted to see if anyone else thinks this could hold water.
Sounds like he's more than halfway there, what with the cybernetics, the rachni army, the geth...
And I think it would be brilliant to do that.
Do you take all the power and wield it in a manner that is honorable and compassionate, uniting the galaxy against the Reapers?
Or do you use them as Saren would have, as tools?
Do you become the very thing you sought to destroy? I think keeping the Collector Base embodies this choice quite well.

What? That doesn't make any sense. Millions of people saw the attack. Shepard himself is famous as hell--everyone you bump into on the Citadel is all "omg you're Shepard!"
Hell, a store on the Citadel sells a model of Sovereign.

I like the premise. I've been thinking all along that the council is going to be the main enemy (pre reapers,) in ME3. I just don't see how they're going to sit idly by while you lead the geth, cure the genophage, reclaim the quarian homeworld, all for a "fake" reason .
Its a good excuse for getting your old team back as well. Better than Liara randomly changing personalities again <_<

Han seems to understand that he needs to keep his mouth shut. He even has personal reason to, considering that if the evidence is revealed at the trial it fractures the Flotilla.Azint wrote...

They may not even need to tbe loyal. They could simply have survived. I bet loyalty wont even factor into the next game anyway, because if you don't have it at the end of 2, there won't be a way to get it in 3, they don't have enough room to have character based loyalty missions AND focus on the end of the trilogy.
For example, Legion's quest may never have been completed, and Tali might be exiled, and those will transfer, but not whether one is loyal or not.

Yeah I agree there, the 11/12 we have now is way too many. And it will only get more cluttered in ME3. I just mean that it will make the story dryer. Since I expect each character to have some bearing on the events of the game.
