About the eyes, I don't think it's large eyes people are necessarily attracted to, I think it's large a iris (internet tells me irides is plural form? doesn't sound right...) Tali appears to have a larger iris:eye ratio than a human.

here I'll re make the reasons why it is acceptable from scratch... okay here we go

First of all here are some things to pay attenchion to

• 2nd colored iris
• gill like lines going horizontally on cheeks
• organic looking wirish things on forehead
• hair
• pale with a tiny tint of blue skin color
• pointy ears

first of all You need hair for their homeworld Rannoch, because the plannets rely on the larger animals to cross polinate them because Rannoch is free of insects, and what better way to do this than hair, the pollen goes up in the air, and gets stuck in the hair, and will fall off when the quarian shakes their hair, or just falls off normally

second look at the second iris, this allows their eyes to glow because as we all know rannoch is orbiting around a star, kinda like that of earths but a little less bright, theirfore the glowing eyes could allow them to see easier using basic Bioluminescences like that of fish found on the bottom of the ocean

Next I will point you to the organic wireish things on their head, as i said earlier rannoch is slightly more dark than earth so the organic wireish things would be just like the biolumenescence lamps used by creatures at the bottom of the ocean (you know the big scary looking one with the wire on head and a glowing ball)

while the Pale with a tiny tint of blue skin is due to their Sun, Because their sun is not "Sol" They will not have the same skin type as ours, but since their sun is like "Sol" it would be similar, and since Rannoch is slightly more darker than earth, it would make their skin more paler, also their sun is a bit more deeper(or lesser forget which one it is) into the UV spectrum than ours so that would allow for that blue tint.


although this wont be the faceI can almost be sure of it, I would however like it to be somewhat like this, just from the facts I have noticed... from using books, Masseffect.wikia.com and varios sources from over the time I have played mass effect, and others speculation from pic, from my own suspective

She got it from a Geth's memory core...a really difficult thing to do, since they usually self-destruct their memory core when they're destroyed.  Shows her mad skillz.

To be fair this forum is a poor judge of what they can and can't make a profit from.  We represent only the nerdiest portion of the userbase, the ones who spend hours talking about a fictional character and the science and politics of a fictional world.

I presume they are collecting player metrics to help direct their development efforts.  How popular a LI is can be judged by how many times a character is chosen across multiple playthroughs.  They could possibly track which characters' conversation chains get completed across multiple playthroughs, which characters are most often chosen as squad members, and so on.

Where did you get that quote? That was from like two days ago.  And you took it out of context.  I was responding to a post that said that because there has been support for a Romance DLC on the forums that that somehow made making a romance DLC profitable.  I never said that there wasn't a way for them to discern that it would be profitable, just that looking on the forums wasn't it.

More like '4 hours' ago (OK, more like 8 now).  I had the thread open and left for a meeting, and picked up where I had left off.

Anyway, I thought I was addressing your point - you're right that that forums aren't a good metric of a character's true popularity, but we know they are collecting some kind of player metrics and I was speculating how they could use them to make these kinds of decisions.

Back to praising Tali!

Damn, spring break can really mess with your time gauge.  Especially when you stay up late and sleep in late.  I was so off...

Didn't you just rescue her from Fist's assassins? She explains how she got it while talking in the Embassy. 

Basically, she tracked a patrol of Geth, waited for one to get seperated, and she managed to disable it and access parts of its memory.
