Belgian, why do you care? If you don't like Tali, that's fine with us. I also don't think you should care that many people like her. Like whoever you want, don't care about others.

I just want to gather some opinions
If you want my opinion, I like Tali for the following reasons
a) She's very intelligent. This is a MUST for me because I find intelligence highly attractive in women, I like being able to have an intelligent conversation with them.
She's good with technology, and is interested in technology. Someone with the same interests is also highly attractive.
c) She's selfless. It's highly admirable and is a good opposite to me.
d) She's very cute. Her personality is magnificient, she's easy to talk to.
e) Despite being quite the cutie, she is also very able. I see this especially appropriate considering her selflessness - she does not want be a burden on anyone.
f) I agree with many of her views on things, but as you can see on her loyalty mission, she will also disagree with you on things she feels passionately about. It's helpful that when she does disagree, I can perfectly see her side of things.
f) She's genuine. I did not really see this with Jack or Miranda in my opinion, and I disagreed with Ashley on too many important topics for her to be attractive to me.
g) She's moral.
So many people to quote, I like this one.
It really ends up going from general things to specific things about what you like in Tali. I find it hard to think anyone could not like Tali, she has to be one of the best written characters, and holds the most dialogue for ME2 (I still don't believe that).
It did take me another playthrough of ME1 to fully appreciate it, I was hooked generally by the main plot the first time, then hooked on every 2ndary thing in the game during my 2nd playthrough. And 8 playthroughs later, she and Wrex are like the only still-interesting characters to talk to.
A lot of art in these games, I stay away from the MMOs and laugh as my brother's rage over MW2 
Thank you Goat. I think those points I listed, quite conveniently, do not match any other character other than Tali. To any non-Tali fans who may be reading, the following is my opinion on why I think Tali for me (not anyone else) is the best love interest.
Liara - Her awkwardness was cute, but she came on too strongly and too early. Ideally for me, the best romance comes over time, I did not like that in the second conversation the romance can begin with Shepard saying that "there is something between us." What could possibly be between them? They only just met.
Ashley - I wholly disagree with her views on religiion. That doesn't mean I can't like her as a person, but it's unattractive to me in the romantic sense. Also, I disagree with her views on the Alliance and aliens.
Miranda - She's an interesting character and I may liked MShepard being able to be friends with her instead of rmoance. For me, she's too cold and I disagreed with how she acted towards Nikhet, that was way too hostile. I really can't see anything romantically interesting in her.
Jack - I like her eccentricity, but it is really hard to get over her vulgarity and amorality.
So I'm only left with the amazing Tali
