thats exactly what I thuoght too, its crazy, but bioware did a real good job on her character... she's the only one to even get close to beating us/beat us

Comparing ages between races is a flawed comparison.  She may be around 1/10th of the lifespan for asari, but she's still 3x older than you.  The one asari on Illium says that she turned 40 and finally moved out of her parents house.  That would be the equivalent of a human moving out when they are around 5.  Things don't scale perfectly.  As long as the asari are fully matured (which Liara clearly is,) I wouldn't consider anything wrong.

The thing that threw me off about the Liara relationship was the abuptness.  You meet her, and one conversation later its true love?
