This. In the second conversation she's talking about being together. Basically just because she's interested in you because you know about the protheans. Wow. And if Shepard starts the romance he says "There is something between us." Uh, Shepard, like what?

With Tali, you have the precedence of friendship. That's really important. Not only that, but the very important element of trust. She asked you not to reveal her father's work and Shepard agreed. They trust one another after all they've been through, they feel secure in one another's arms. I think it's very romantic, in that regard. Plus the butterflies and sunshine thing Kasumi talks about

Its really the only romance that doesn't come out of nowhere.  Some people say that they don't see Tali as a romance option, but realistically, it would be weird if she didn't develop feelings for you.  Shepard has done more for her than anyone else in her life.  Saved her life more than a few times, gave her the adventure of a lifetime in ME1, always treated her like an equal when the world wouldn't, and he is the only person that will always be there for her.  Why wouldn't she be crazy about you?

For Shep, you get a close friend, who has been by your side more than anyone else (aside from Garrus,) with a wonderful personality, who happens to be attractive on top of that.

Phil, once again you have hit the proverbial nail on the head.

I would honestly be surprised if Tali didn't at the very least have a crush on Shepard after going though all of what they've done together, and depending on how you play, Shepard can really be the first good thing that's come into Tali's life.
