Just took out Matriarch Benezia. Next up, Feros.
Not Tali related, but I've always liked to take her out last (before Virmire).
Usually I go in this order:
Save Liara
Noveria
Feros
Virmire
This playthrough I'm going:
Noveria
Feros
Virmire
Save Liara
We are not so sure either, but that's how it is. I certainly have no problem with other threads having the same support.padaE wrote...
Yes it all fits. It would be enough to understand why she had a big or even the biggest support group.
.
However, I can't see it explaining what we have here, this huge difference between Tali threads and other.
.
Well, I guess it's to late to understand that.

Speculation is fun.
But here's hoping we get an answer in 3.

When you're playing a renegade Shepard in ME1 and refuse to give Tali that data, does she refuse to talk to you the entire game? Also, is there a "renegade path" to Tali's romance, like there is with Miranda and Jack?
How you treat Tali (or any character really,) in ME1 has no effect in ME2. If you don't give her the data (are a complete jerk, or just don't do the mission,) all you miss is one line of dialogue on Freedom's Progress. Nothing else changes.
No alternate paths to her romance either. You either full out love her, or go for someone else
I'm not really into the romances (I'm the guy you'll see vomiting in the theatre of a really sappy romance movie), but I still like to do them on my playthroughs occasionally. I know with Jack it can be one time thing (renegade) or more involved, and with Miranda you can basically accuse her of being jealous, but wasn't sure with Tali. I plan to try Tali's out on my current run through.
I wonder if doing her romance will cause her any serious health problems in ME3. I doubt that it will drastically change anything that big, but it could be a very good plot point.
It won't, you see the consequences at the end of ME2. She gets cold symptoms, and says that it was totally worth it. She won't have anything new spring up out of nowhere.
The Normandy is pretty sterile (not completely, but better than Omega for example,) and she takes ample precautions.

A bit difficult to see how the relationship could continue, though. That probably won't come up.

Guys, would you explian to me how can Tali have such enormous thread(s)? I was trying to figure out but I can't. I came up with a couple of thing, like, she doesn't have a face, what helps people thinking her as they like. Also, she needs Shepard more than anyone, you really feel like her protector, that would help too. Maybe her voice? I don't know, if I knew I wouldn't be asking.
.
Anyway,I'm sure you get a lot of trolling around here but I'm just asking. Let's try to keep it civil as long as possible.
People basically love everything about her personality. Her appearance is subtly attractive as well. It isn't in your face, but you definitely notice her figure. Her face doesn't seem to be a huge factor, some people imagine what they want, but most people seem to just leave it blank for now. Her voice is great, and Liz Sroka does some great VA work that makes a lot of people like her.
Her personality is the main reason though.
She's nice, yet strong when she needs to be.
She's faced an incredible amount of crap in her life, yet comes out as a positive and open minded person.
She's very loyal (Ash/Liara fail this one,) willing to trust Cerberus, and walk through hell for you.
You feel like the relationship is more advanced than the other ME2 characters since it started in ME1.
Her awkward nervousness around Shep is adorable.
She's willing to risk death to be close to Shep. That's how much she cares about him.
These are the main ones for me, I'm sure I missed things others like.
More than all, there's really nothing that pushes her away from you. Ash and Liara's treatment of Shep is a turn off. Jack is Jack, and Miranda's b*itchiness is a huge turnoff for some. Tali is just Tali. The shy true friend that is with you through thick and thin.
The relationship just happens. Two good friends that develop feelings for each other time.
