Hah yeah.  Looking back, I wonder how I could have been so stupid that first playthrough.  Thane in vents, Zaeed leading both teams, Miranda as the biotic, Grunt as the escort, and took Garrus with me to the final boss (leaving like no defense for hold the line.)  If I hadn't gotten the upgrades, I would have came very close to killing everyone off

I blame it on playing for like 12 straight hours to get that far

Well, to be fair. I've never had Tali die, so I've never heard the full line. In fact, I like to pretend it isn't possible for Tali to die at all. She's even more invincible than Miranda.

Shes much more invincible than Miranda on my games.  I don't purposely try and kill anyone, but I play very neutral from a persuasion standpoint, and Jack's one of my favorite characters.  Half the time I end up with a disloyal Miranda.  And obviously Tali is never in peril
