I was talking about this forum in general really.  I'm sure people who aren't fans of ME have a different view of us.  I'm sure there are plenty of people who think people who post on a video game forum at all are all huge nerds.  When we get that far out of the target audience, things become skewed.

My initial point was that of the however many users there are registered on this forum, lets say 10k for a round number.  5k are Tali fans.  There is no way the other 4k-4.5k hate Tali. 

We're all nerds, everyone on this forum. It goes beyond people thinking we're "huge nerds" and you know it. We are "obsessed" with an alien and because we'd have sex with an alien in a video game, we would also fvck a goat in real life, right? Cuz there's no difference between romancing an alien and romancing a goat, right?

If I can't stand anything, it's reasonless hate, and you get a lot of that lately.
Some of you might overdo the Tali-love a little sometime, but that doesn't hurt anyone out in the rest of the forums, so I don't understand why some people throw so much crap at you.

And I like Tali of course.

People just associate rescue in general with damsel in distress.  I think its pretty clear that she wasn't going to survive Haestrom without you, I think she would have been fine with Fist's thugs though.  You're right about not laying down though.  She won't go down without a fight
