Thank you sir. Sometimes it just takes perspective. I'm sure with perspective, others still wouldn't agree with us, but maybe they'd at least understand where we're coming from and not just say "zomg you screw aliens in video gamez that's like beastiality, right?".

Although, I think it was just yesterday when I realized the slight symbolism in her recruitment mission.

Tali (quarian princess!), is trapped in that big observatory (tower!), while a large and powerful enemy (dragon!) is guarding the entrance to her. Hell, they even had geth with flame throwers right there (fire breathing!)

People just associate rescue in general with damsel in distress.  I think its pretty clear that she wasn't going to survive Haestrom without you, I think she would have been fine with Fist's thugs though.  You're right about not laying down though.  She won't go down without a fight

You know a good comparison would be a unit of marines stuck behind enemy lines and surrounded.  They need rescuing sure, but they aren't exactly helpless.

Not even Adam Baldwin can make it out without help, you can't discredit Tali for that either.

My initial point was that of the however many users there are registered on this forum, lets say 10k for a round number.  5k are Tali fans.  There is no way the other 4k-4.5k hate Tali. 

We're all nerds, everyone on this forum. It goes beyond people thinking we're "huge nerds" and you know it. We are "obsessed" with an alien and because we'd have sex with an alien in a video game, we would also fvck a goat in real life, right? Cuz there's no difference between romancing an alien and romancing a goat, right?

lol not when the person isn't even a troll. They're just a normal fan of Ashley or something and they legitimately ask if doing Tali is beastiality. Yea I laugh at first but then you start to think "hmm, maybe there's more of these people", and without edumacating them people hate that which they don't understand.

Haestrom was definitely one of the high points of ME2.
