She's likely one of the weakest members of the team physically. Kasumi and Jack may also be very weak, but Jack can do crazy biotic moves to augments her strength and Kasumi moves like a spider. Tali is just... Tali.
Side Note: The GPR in ME1(and pretty much every gun) sucks because by the time the GPR becomes available Spectre Weapons also are.

Working on engines all day builds muscles, Tali's legs are quite built, arms are a bit skinny

Mordin is actually the weakest IMHO

Never said she was the weakest, just one of the weakest, mordin probably is the least physically adept. tali is probably second weakest then. I believe that canonically quarians tend to be smaller than humans, meaning she is likely below Kasumi.

You're right, they've never mentioned that it augments their physical performance in any way. I guess I should have phrased my question, why don't they build them that way?

Because it's just added complexity. Suits like that would be bulkier, weigh more, require more resources, have more points of failure, etc.

Maybe they do have some special "labor suits" that are have some of that "synthetic muscle" tech that the Geth use, that Quarians can put on when they need to do heavy labor. But it just doesn't make sense for the standard quarian suit to provide extra strength.

I destroy Insanity mode with Tali in my squad. All she needs is a pistol and CD and she's the most useful member I have. Legion would be better but I only get him for the last 2 or 3 missions.

He's talking about muscle, not combat ability

Ahh, my bad DC :innocent:

All the squadmates are capable of performing the same physical tasks in missions. There's no indication of who is stronger or weaker. It's all just speculation.

Tali is a mechanic, fixes engines all day. She can't be that weak. None oif the team are that weak actually, but I'd say that Jack is weaker because she can just use biotics for things, she doesn't have to actually put on muscle

Mordin is old

Well, that's a gameplay thing though. Realistically their physical strength would vary.

A while back I made a thread about a squad member arm-wrestling contest. I believe I had just Mordin and Jack (the contest assumed she wouldn't use biotics) below Tali.

And Grunt isn't so big lol

Tali is useful in game actually though, at least at certain points, Geth/Mech heavy missions or ones with Varren, where the combat drone draws some fire. She just goes down too quick and the pistol/shotgun combo I find never works too well. Ultimately Legion supersedes her by having all her abilities, higher health and the much more powerful Widow/assault rifle combo. That and he can keep himself alive longer with GSB and has the Geth Shield Strength Upgrades to further boost his survivability. I get the feeling they lazed out and figured Legion could just be an upgraded Tali at the end of the game, considering he comes in so late.

Also I think it would be important to point out that a super suit on a quarian tarnishes they're own backstory. Think about it from a literature perspective. The Quarians represent what happens when technology gets out of control, as a result of the Geth the Quarians now have to wear these suits, and they have to live on ships. They don't use any technology by choice anymore, but only as a nessecity. So why augment Quarian ability, when all a quarian should want is to live free from technology? It helps build their character worth as a species to not have super power armor.
