On PC she dies for me a little more often than other characters, probably about the same as Miranda. I haven't noticed her AI being different than other squaddies, she jumps over crates and gets herself perploded like the rest of em.

That happens to any squadmate, likely moreso for any shotgun user because they tend to act much more aggressively. I use Tali similarly to how I use Grunt, I command them to shotgun rush enemies. Unlike Grunt, she can not take anywhere near as much damage, but that's why you have her rush enemies occupied with her combat drone, it almost always works for me anyways.

Never said she was the weakest, just one of the weakest, mordin probably is the least physically adept. tali is probably second weakest then. I believe that canonically quarians tend to be smaller than humans, meaning she is likely below Kasumi.

Tali is a mechanic, fixes engines all day. She can't be that weak. None oif the team are that weak actually, but I'd say that Jack is weaker because she can just use biotics for things, she doesn't have to actually put on muscle

Mordin is old

I can't imagine fixing engines would make you very strong, seems like repairs in the ME universe are done with consoles and omni-tools, not lifting and elbow grease. Likewisethe ME wiki states:

"Quarians are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans.
Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids
and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which
include a thumb and an index finger, as well as three toes on each foot.
Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those
of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian
version of an ear" (Ascension, p. 235).
"

Assuming Tali represents an average quarian physically she will be, at least canonically weaker than Jack. however the fact that she is younger than Mordin probably lets her beat him.

She is a mechanic and somewhat a comando... or at least well trained in combat. Kasumi is a thief, she doesn't need muscle power for anything. It's really likely that even Miranda is less phisicaly adept than Tali as she is a biotic - she doesn't need workout too.
Besides... you need quite some muscle power to run around with a shotgun.

I do think Tali would edge out Jack in physical strength. Generally quarians are bit smaller than humans, but Jack's pretty small, and skinny.

Plus, Tali does do work with her hands when working on engines, modifying tech, building stuff, etc. There's also the fact that Jack's muscle mass may have atrophied slightly from being cryogenically frozen.

Tali has to do manula labour though, Jack could just use her biotics. Also Tali is physically bigger than Jack
Just because Quarians are slighter of build doesn't mean they are all physically weaker than your average human
Tali has also recieved military training (shepard says so when you don't hug her during her loyalty mission), jack hasn't

Well first of all, if you don't direct your squadmates around correctly, they will hop over boxes and die and whatnot. I've gotten really good at this game, and on Insanity for the few moments I'm not directing my squaddies, that's when they do the dumb sh!t. Miranda jumps into cover, then hops ontop of the box and sits there with no cover till dead. I've only seen Jack and Jacob do that ever. They're horrible AI. Especially on Insanity.

Tali doesn't do that often, or almost at all

I intentionally didn't hug her once. :crying: I believe it was for a good cause though, since the dialog you miss out on does provide some more insight into her relationship with her father. Plus you do comfort her with words, at least.

It took four men to restrain me to keep me from right-clicking that mouse button! But don't worry, I reloaded and hugged her. B)

Miranda is definitely stronger than both of them, heavy genetic modifcation very likely included a strength boost.

It depends what kind of contest of strength we're talking about. If we're talking about upper body strength, Tali and Jack look about equal to me. However, I get the impression that Tali's legs are quite strong, probably more powerful than a human's.
