If you share a name with one of your parents, perhaps you should use the other's name in some way?

Here's a repost of the rule so we can tear it apart easier:

First four letters of middle name (if less then 4 use your whole middle
name)
Add an apostrophe.
Last four letters of last name (if 4
letters or less in last name spell it backwards)
Do you live with
your parents? If yes add a space and “nar” if not add a space and “vas”
Add
another space and add your first name without the first or last letter
(if first name is 3 letters or less add “ya” to your first name spelled
backwards).
If yes to above "vas/nar" stop here.
If no add a space
and “nar” followed by another space and take the first two letters of
your father's first name and add to it the last three letters of your
mother's maiden name. (if there are too few letters in either name, just
use the whole name)

Oh sure you can get that in 5 minutes but you can't think of something positive about Tali.

I'm trying to think of something good as well as at least somewhat original. There are plenty of stories about the bedroom scene as well as the relationship between Shep and Tali as it developed throughout the game.
There's no need for me to write anything like that when there are already so many other great ones out there.

Trust me when I say that I am playing around with ideas and as soon as I find one that works it shall be written. I just need the right inspiration.

While we are on the topic of fics, how much information is actually provided about the slaver attack on Mindoir? I only ask because the details seem unclear. Are their any survivors beyond the enslaved? Was Mindoir defended from attack? What kind of colony was it? Was it a Horizon or a Feros?
