I see you forgot the convenient plot device that will let the quarians readjust to their homeworld in a short amount of time.  I don't know what it will be, there will be one.  I'll make sure of that :wizard:

/half denial/half hopeful for a big happy ending

Even if one of them will always be seperated from the other by a suit they'll always have nerve stimulation programs to fall back on.

And I'm sure you could find full body condoms that act as enviormental suits if you looked hard enough.

I'm not concerned about reclaiming the homeworld for easier sex.  The other quarians clearly already have methods to make that work, and Tali and Shep are fine using the Normandy.  I want the quarians in general to be able to get back to normalcy as a whole in a relatively small time frame.  Smelling flowers and eating solid food and stuff.  They've suffered long enough.  The developers throwing in 60 years for their super adaptive systems to readjust to something they were fully adjusted to 300 years ago is just a stomach punch.

the ship name is actually very cool... the fix here would be in the given name section. Still though, I wouldn't judge too harshly, I think its a cool name.

In ME3, the nanobots used to create Husks will be re-engineered to act as a synthetic immune system for Quarians.

Tali: Shepard... I received the synthetic immune system treatment today. Does it... bother you that I have Reaper tech within me?

Shepard: Are you kidding? You should ask Miranda about the Lazarus Project!  There's a reason no one was ever brought back until after we had access to Reaper tech. Trust me Tali, I couldn't care less. <3

Tali: Oh... well, good. I'm glad it doesn't bother you.

Shepard: So babe, how about we put that new immune system of yours to the test? ;)

anyone wanna try it?

I'll give it a shot.

I'm Dani'Ohan vas Oshu nar Dafoulk.  My middle name is my dad's first name so it's a little awkward looking.  But a fun distraction.

my father and I share the issue of sharing two names :P

suggestions on how to fix?

If you share a name with one of your parents, perhaps you should use the other's name in some way?

Here's a repost of the rule so we can tear it apart easier:

First four letters of middle name (if less then 4 use your whole middle
name)
Add an apostrophe.
Last four letters of last name (if 4
letters or less in last name spell it backwards)
Do you live with
your parents? If yes add a space and “nar” if not add a space and “vas”
Add
another space and add your first name without the first or last letter
(if first name is 3 letters or less add “ya” to your first name spelled
backwards).
If yes to above "vas/nar" stop here.
If no add a space
and “nar” followed by another space and take the first two letters of
your father's first name and add to it the last three letters of your
mother's maiden name. (if there are too few letters in either name, just
use the whole name)

I am Jaso'nett vas Illia nar Willen

Perhaps more letter reversals? Or simply substituting the first two letters of your father's name for your mothers and vice versa, if you share a name?

Yeah, that does NOT work with my name at all.
It just makes a series of unpronounceable noises filled with vowels.

Thankfully no funnel webs, mostly those big scary f*cking huntsmen, they're harmless, scary and as common as flies in Northern Queensland

SPIDER IS EVERYWHERE!!!!!

Huntsman are nothing compared to those funnel webs:?
I took a mallet to one of those big b*stards in my hotel once (yes, pest control "forgot one"<_<)
And the last time I saw one I gave that b*stard a piece of Sig Saur (long story)

While we are on the topic of fics, how much information is actually provided about the slaver attack on Mindoir? I only ask because the details seem unclear. Are their any survivors beyond the enslaved? Was Mindoir defended from attack? What kind of colony was it? Was it a Horizon or a Feros?

Very little information provided. Look up in wiki "Commander Shepard" and "Mindoir."

Already did. Very unspecific. Alliance sent in ground forces but doesn't say when or how quickly. Huge farming colony so likely alot like Horizon, which would imply similar defences.

If spiders stay away from me they have nothing to fear, and I'm happy to let them go on with their lives.

But if they crawl on or near me.
