I really think it's plausible that in ME3, TIM will manipulate Miranda to betraying you, so that he can get the Normandy (or specifically, EDI) back. 

I'm not saying Miranda will be evil about it, it'll genuinely be a hard choice for her. But she'll be reminded that Cerberus protects her sister, TIM sill say he won't hurt the crew, etc. 

After TIM's plan to capture the Normandy is foiled, you'll get the choice of forgiving her or killing her.

Hmm, that happens to be a plot device in my fanfic and is very plausible
What if she's your LI though?

I'm with you right up until the option to execute Miranda.  A point blank kill shot for a squad mate seems more gruesome than Bioware is willing to go.  Dismiss her from the team instead maybe.

Paragade is Renegade but for the right reasons.  We do the pragmatic thing is situations but our morality is sound.  We help the helpless but realize that sometimes the best way to help someone is to kill someone.  I have no idea what renegon is, probably Renegade but with compassion.

I see. I typically play as paragon, but I do end up stacking many renegade points, too. Some choices were for practicality rather than virtue.

I always thought Paragade were the mostly paragon but with some renegade in them and the Renegon were the mostly renegade with some paragon (bars wise). Now I'm confused

Well, renegade shep never had any problems putting down anyway who's too dangerous to be left alive. 

"I'm sorry Miranda, but I can't risk you endangering us for your sister again." 

Something like that.

Something like that. 

Yeah but you never kill anyone worse than a merc or bloodthirsty murderer.  Everyone that Shep can kill, or has an option to let someone else kill, you can make a good case that they deserve it.  A person as good as Miranda, acting only out of love for her sister doesn't fit that mold.
