You know exactly how to make a grown man cry. I mean really, those tow fics of your tore me up. I'd put you more towards the serious Talimancer camp but I think you have a very thick skin. Goes with the territory. You know that your fics will attract raged fans and and you can take it.

For infiltrators who are worth their salt and choose the Widow instead of weapon training he is.  AI hack and Combat drone are very effective at tying up enemies while you snipe them free of worry over flying bullets. 

My two most frequently used squadmates are Garrus and Tali, so it's a compromise to have Legion. AI Hacking and Combat Drone are very useful, and because he has the Widow, Legion out-matches the rest of the snipers. And upon completion of his loyalty mission, Legion becomes one of the most durable squadmates.

The overall tone of the message he sends is pretty unfriendly. But, then again, she is going off to save the galaxy again. He has the right to be concerned

I still think he would approve.  Above all, he loves Tali and wants her to be happy.  He doesn't normally know how to show it, but I feel like this is the one time he wouldn't screw it up. 

There's the obvious trepidation with the whole no one's good enough for daddy's little girl thing, but I don't think he would have any more hesitation with Shepard than any random quarian.  I mean, what's there to not like about Shepard?  Galactic hero, killed the most geth in the galaxy, loves Tali completely.  What more could you want? 

There's really no other reason than extreme xenophobia that he would prefer an average quarian over Shep.  And xenophobia doesn't seem to be a quarian constant (outside the geth.)

That's his loyalty outfit

I would use that outfit if it wasn't white.  I hate white for some reason, I think it is good for only accents.  And Legion looks almost comical with that outfit.  Like you aren't supposed to take him seriously.  That is a bad impression to be getting from the character with the most powerful gun.

It would only matter if he were alive as him having a bad opinion of shepard takes away one vote out of five from me.  If Rael didn't like shepard I don't assume he would be above making a biased vote on the admiralty board.

If he had survived, I think at first he'd be quite against it. Not only does he seem like the type who'd be overprotective, he may not like the idea of her being with a human; especially since I imagine a human relationship poses greater risk than a quarian one.



But I think Shepard could win him over. I mean come on, Shep's killed more geth than like every quarian alive put together. Gotta score him some points.

There are reasons beside xenophobia:  an alien is likley to take Tali away from the Flotilla more or less permanently.  Rael's other goal is a strong Flotilla.  Then there's the grandkids issue...

I typically take Legion and Garrus.  Between the two of them I have a sniper and a soldier, and if we are fighting synthetics then that team totally destroys.  Overload and AI hacking, Pure Win.  For biotics I have garrus's concussive shot and for armor I have my incinerate, Legion's Widow, and Garrus's armor piercing rounds.  That team can take anything.

Yeah that's probably closer to my opinion.  He wouldn't be happy from the start, but I couldn't see him standing in the way. 

It all comes down to characteristics about him that we don't know.  Does he think a tiny bit less danger is worth Tali being unhappy?  I don't think so, but its always possible.

I'd also like to point out that I'm reading this in their voices and it makes so much better.
