Have not heard of self esteem system. Evolutionar purpose? Likely not evolved from physical stimuli. Perhaps social? Odd for physical mutation due to social pressure. Not impossible. Reminds of Greg Bear's work. Focus. Curious. What properties would self esteem fluid exhibit? Similar to Element Zero nodules? Would like to stu-oh! Pardon. Not literal system. WIll comment.

It was actually the first fanfic I wrote since I was like 13-14, so forgive that it's a bit sloppy in some places.
