Aha, seem like an appropriate idea for someone of Tali's chemistry. 
Where you thinking of how the virus of the common cold becomes Fatal for the lover (Tali) falls deathly ill. And how the common cold is a VIRUS and can NOT be cured by substances known to man, Shepard must retrive the ingridients that a character such as Mordin could use to make a cure?.....Aha, dear me. Looks like I have made my own story  pardon

There is a very real possibility that Legion's presence could be a deception, meant to use Shepard as a tool to lure the quarians to their destruction.

Ya... case just killing Shepard right then and there would totally harsh some people mellow, I mean really If geth were as "bad" as they said they were they could easily overrun most of the other races remember it a Geth ARMY and 1 reaper took out The citadel fleet to the point the alliance navy took over one could only image if they attacked at full force.

I'm not sure what I want to do with the Geth.

I'll need more information before I can come to a decision...but the Quarians must have Rannoch. So it all depends on if the Geth are willing to bargain.

Fixed. Now I can support it.

Wouldn't happen at Best they destroy each other, The geth fleet size is very unknown it could match the Quarians easily seeing as there a race who thrives more in space then on land further more unlike Quarians geth ships are not simple patch together each one is kept at it top efficiency which means armor shield and weapons would be allot stronger. There loving Quarians then there ignorance.

The fact that the geth didn't kill the quarians 300 years ago is a pretty good indicator that they're not planning anything now IMO.  Think of how easy of a target they would be right after getting off the planet.  The geth don't really seem prone to random changes of heart.

As far as the war thing, war means all quarians are dead.  Its Xen's brainwash plan, or peace.

which is why we kill them before that happens

Your killing nothing more then Scouting party 9 times out of 10 most geth live beyond the veil an area no one ever goes for good reason.

I would point out that we probably have not seen the true size of the geth, since we have only seen the "heretics" come out from beyond the veil.

This is false.

Explain...WE can AID in the fight againts the virus in our bodies....but not kill it.

There's always been something very strange about the way Legion acts, i don't know whats wrong with him but there is something

Here's how I look at it:

The geth are well aware of Tali's existance on Shepard's original crew and of his loyalty to her. It is easy to infer that Shepard would be willing to aid the quarians in retaking their homeworld. So, the geth send Legion with a false message of peace. Shepard then gathers the Admirals, convinces them to meet with the geth and then the Flotilla is destroyed.

Edit: I really hope I am wrong.
