I would like to start a topic of RELEASING TALI FROM THE SUIT!

In all, is'nt what this thread strives for? Is it the reason for this womans mystery? Is the mystery the idea that gives her hidden nature?

I would love some ideas and theorys you have to offer.

God it feels weird having an intelligent discussion with you....
I wouldn't say the goal of the thread is to get Tali out of the suit, just to make sure she returns as squad/LI.
But mystery definitely does add to the wait... <_<

When you think about it, it's more about making sure she returns as a squadmate.  We pretty much know for a fact that she will return in Mass Effect 3 as a Love Interest, as Bioware has stated that in Mass Effect 3 you have to deal with having cheated on a Mass Effect 1 interest.  If that is so, she's already in Mass Effect 3.  Hopefully you do get to chose her as a continued LI and squadmate.  I'd be surprised if Bioware didn't get the hint that the community wants this.  I like to think that community support helped make Tali a love interest in Mass Effect 2, and these threads will work towards making her a major part of Mass Effect 3.

That's exactly why we are here. So long as we maintain the vocal majority, Bioware won't have a choice but to keep Tali around.

So keep posting gents! Let's help the lovely Miss Sroka keep her job!

Carried over for wild imaginings and reckless speculation.

I've always assumed Legion's purpose was to study Shepard.  Shepard destroyed a reaper, a huge enemy for the geth.  If they can get some extra info, why not?

I doubt the geth think like Shepard is with a quarian, we're in danger.  If they were paranoid like that, they would have already killed the quarians.

The Quarians have by far the most powerful fleet in the galaxy.
Attacking the flotilla would be a big mistake, and the Geth know that.

I was referring to 300 years ago or so, before the quarians had the largest fleet in the galaxy.  The geth's feelings haven't changed since then.

Why must we always have these misunderstandings. :D

All it takes is for 1 quarian liveship to go down to cripple the whole Quarian species.  I dont think the Geth care about how large the fleet is.  if the Geth wanted to finish off the quarians they would have done it already.  Geth just want to be left alone

Attacking a fleet of 50,000 starships, and trying to take out the largest and most heavily defended among them.
It would have to be a suicide attack.  And the Quarians could still recover...Shepard would convince the council to send them food, supplies, etc.

as nice as it would be, i cant see it happening, in the conversation on the Alerai she made it quite clear that this would require generations of gene modification to do.  so unfortunately, not going to happen.

Clearly you're ignoring technological advances and deus ex machinas

That said, Bioware can easily make a case for going against what Tali says on the Alerei.  She really isn't qualified in that field.  I'm no scientist, but if Bioware wants the quarians to be able to have a normal life in a year or two on their homeworld, they could make it happen without wrecking the canon.  We hear all about the adaptability of their immune systems, and they were fully adapted a short time ago.

I definitely want to release her from the suit.  The mystery doesn't mean anything to me really, I just want her to be able to live a normal life on Rannoch B)

Oh yes, definitely want that.

The previous topis of "Nanotechnology" could play a great factor in her release.
I would guess that a quarians body would have a somewhat small amount of bacterium and viruses. therefore the tech could easly track down the attacker and destroy it. It would'nt be SUPER effective. But a good idea for the Quarians whom survive on bravery and sacrifice for the good of there people.

Did everyone else have a different council than I did in ME1/2?  I don't recall once getting a vibe that they cared in the least what Shepard thought, or whether or not the quarians lived.

That's why you don't send non-combat ships and civilians in to battle, leave them somewhere safe and let Han'Gerrel take care of the geth

or my personal favorite 'FU LIFE' ending (because this game is all about choices after all) you join with the reapers for the same reasons as Saren did to attempt saving at least your team from death...but i doubt it

I was wondering this the other day, and the answer I got was that we don't really know.  We know all ships are armed somewhat, but don't know the overall strength.

I see a situation where the quarian flotilla is kind of like cars and BB guns against army vehichles.  You can have numbers, but if those numbers are all crap, it doesn't really matter.
