maybe, after all they do have to find a way for you to kill BILLIONS of reapers simultaneously, unless they plan the game to end with the destruction of all life. But i hope you are right

I think that will be one of the possible endings, if you really screw things up....everything dies

I bet it'll give an option to charm the reapers out of genocide

Harbinger: WE WERE WRONG, SHEPARD. WE SEE THE ERROR OF OUR WAYS. WE SHALL DEVOTE OURSELVES TO THE PRESERVATION OF ORGANIC LIFE.

lol I see it now Shepard having a Paragon discussion with Harbringer

what could you possibly say? i mean really, what could you possibly say
to a race of machines PROGRAMMED TO KILL YOU that would make them

or my personal favorite 'FU LIFE' ending (because this game is all about choices after all) you join with the reapers for the same reasons as Saren did to attempt saving at least your team from death...but i doubt it

Hmmm......i might like that :devil::devil:

I was referring to 300 years ago or so, before the quarians had the largest fleet in the galaxy.  The geth's feelings haven't changed since then.

Why must we always have these misunderstandings. :D

All it takes is for 1 quarian liveship to go down to cripple the whole Quarian species.  I dont think the Geth care about how large the fleet is.  if the Geth wanted to finish off the quarians they would have done it already.  Geth just want to be left alone

Attacking a fleet of 50,000 starships, and trying to take out the largest and most heavily defended among them.
It would have to be a suicide attack.  And the Quarians could still recover...Shepard would convince the council to send them food, supplies, etc.

Did everyone else have a different council than I did in ME1/2?  I don't recall once getting a vibe that they cared in the least what Shepard thought, or whether or not the quarians lived.

Exibit A, ladies and gentlemen:

That one world that the quarians had intended to colonize. It was a backwater piece of trash rock, but the elcor said they wanted it. So, the Council, being complete dicks, threatened the quarians with extinction if they did not vacate the planet's surface.

Let that just sink in for a minute.

ok now consider this. they may have 50000 ships but, how many of them are for combat? How many ships house non-combatants?

I'm not saying it wouldn't be an incredibly bloody fight.  I could very well break down and cry for a few hours after.

But it wouldn't be the end of the fleet.  Many quarian civilian ships are armed (even combat-ready), and they have hundreds of dedicated warships to protect those.

They also have 17 million people compared to who knows how many
geth.  (I assume the number has to be huge given how fast the geth seem
to be able to add numbers,) and the quarians have nowhere to hide
civilians.  They just can't afford a war.  All of their army is built for defense against slavers and other threats of the Terminus systems.  They aren't equipped for all out war like turians and humans.

True. There is already an ad on Illium about some company that has a 40% success rate at allowing Quarians and Volus to live outside their suits on any world.

Cerberus also tried to destroy the Flotilla. Do not fall for their rhetoric. Cerberus is not humanity. It is a deformation of everything that makes humanity great.

I have a feeling that it's mostly bullsh!t.

I mean, how do you change a Volus from breathing ammonia to breathing oxygen?

Sh!t don't add up.

Which is why they would probably, if up against too large of an enemy, keep the enemies engaged with their warships while the rest of the flotilla retreats.

Their goal wasn't to destroy the flotilla, they simply attacked the flotilla to get something they wanted.  Not exactly a ringing endorsement, but there's some difference
