This thread has at least four times the people than any other.  Of course you are going to have more bashing, there's more traffic.  Plus it is a vicious cycle.  They bash you for being so large, you bash them because you think their character is worse than Tali.  They bash you for bashing their character, you throw how popular your character is in their faces at every poll.  They are bitter, you are defensive.  Eventually, one side or the other has to stop or this will continue for the duration of the ME franchise.[/quote]

It is a forceful display of numbers that can't be argued with.  And yes, since you already know your character is the most popular, as a courtesy to the other fans I would not vote in the poll.  When you have your favorite character shot down in every poll it breeds a certain level of bitterness.

Just try to imagine what it is like for the other fans to consistently see their favorite character beaten to a pulp by the Tali fans.  These polls aren't close.  They have huge differences between Tali and everyone else.  I've seen the bitterness.  People hate it when Tali wins.  You don't need a poll to tell you she is the most popular so you should have no reason to vote.

Ironic isn't it, we are probably the most hated group around but we still don't bash the other fans and their favorites

I'll admit that unkind things are said about other characters around here, though I would hope they would be part of a discussion rather than gratuitous.  But yeah, I don't go hatin' on Mirandamancers or anything.  They deserve whatever it is they want.

Early on, one of the criticisms of the Tali romance option was that it was likened to rape. Don't ask me how that makes any sense, because it doesn't. Occasionally a troll might pop up spewing the same filth.
