Funny how it happens isn't it?

I too had a moment where it just sort of clicked. A defining sort of moment, and you realize, "I'm better than this", and you know, that when you walk away, it's because you aren't weak, it's because were strong enough to do so.

It's... enlightening.

Unfortunately, I think if we bursted into other threads explaing that we were there to troll them with life lessons and good humor... they'd probably look at us cross eyed and would proceed to flame us.

Just sayin'.

I rarely experience that because I scarcely involve myself in matters for that to happen. I choose my confrontations, something many should learn to do.

It wasn't so much a defining moment as a "Back, you aren't ready yet" kinda moment.  I was on top of the world, and then I got torn down, but I was glad when it happened.  Ultimately what I had to go through to succeed was beyond what I was capable at the time.  Fortunately, there were more than just verbal attacks being thrown, so I had an excuse to back down. It just wasn't worth the Status that I had achieved.  It's hard to explain vaguely.
