Well Garrus is close, too. It felt appropriate to take someone who is familiar and actually trusted, besides character you would care for should see the diificult decisions you may have to make.

Yeah, personally, I don't care what the discussion is, I just like the times of day where you can actually have them.  If its Tali, great, if its Jacob's loyalty, fine. 

We're at an intermission right now though, so someone either needs to start up a good new topic, or we're going to get hit by a wave of people going to bed, followed by the dead thread time.

Truth. People don't go through what the three of them went through together and then stayed together without it all meaning a whole lot more.

I remember being on the original Tali threads on the old ME2 forum, back when whe actually talked about the character. After Tali Love 2 though... it kinda fell apart.

Which is why I've recently rejoined the thread, at this time of day with the right people? It's great again. Actual conversation.

That's a fair point.  It's just what I felt at the time.  Garrus seems a private person, and it felt like dealing with something he was ashamed about (the death of his team) was something he might not really want others to see.

Tali and Garrus were the only two who came back to Shepard. I understand Wrex, he's making the most of the opportunity I gave him. Cant' say the same for Liara and Ash and Kaiden.

Garrus and Tali though? We're family. Much as I like the other squadmates, they weren't there with me on Noveria when I saved the Rachni. They weren't there on Virmire, and I sure as hell don't remember them being with me on Illos and the Citadel.

Garrus and Tali have always had Shepard's back, and you can tell Shepard means more to them than anyone. Garrus seamed like he spent those two years fighting FOR Shepard, using the lessons he taught him to do some good in the world. And we all know how Tali couldn't get Shepard out of her head on Haestrom.

Those two will always have history with Shepard no one else will. No squaddie from 2 stood by him in 1, and no other squaddies from 1 stood by him in 2, 'cept the cute girl with the mask and the brother with a crater in his face.

I know it was over this insane idea of Quarians attacking geth or Legion being a Traitor and is manipulating everyone ((don't think geth are capable of that.. to inefficient)).
