In the final battle against the Reapers, you'll be able to choose like, which Fleet the Normandy flies into battle with. I'm gonna go with the Quarians; that should score me significant brownie points with Tali. B)

*watches the old, cheap, fleet get torn apart*
Now, was that really a good idea?

That's not good battle stratagy though. You'd want fleets in seperate formations. Like, maybe heavy Krogan ships making up the main line, fast and light ships to be used as "cavalry" and flank the sides, etc.

Do Krogans even have much of a fleet?

What kind of music do humans listen to?

Country. Everything else listens to various forms of cacophonies of sounds.

It's a dark future, indeed.

Says you.  I'll be laughing as the world's populations brains turn to goo due to shear awesomeness.  We will walk the earth doing nothing but hunting and drinking beer.  It will be beautiful.

You're only making it sound more like a madman's apocalyptic master plan.

Who says it isn't?

I really hope for something like this, that you actually get to make a battle plan against the reapers.

krogans have ships?  I mean, i know they do, but in the codex it is very clear that they dont have very many, and they arent allowed to have dreadnaughts.

I'm not very enthusiastic about sending the entire quarian race against the Reaper fleet. Now the krogan, they can have their glorious final struggle.

Well, I don't mean like you just send them in by yourself. All the fleets will be fighting. I just meant that the Normandy itself would be among the Quarians. Kinda like a general in a battlefield being with a specific unit.

Golo was prety hardcore, too.  Pure scum, but badass nonetheless.

Lemm was a great example of quarian badassery, though.  Took on a whole Cerberus cell by himself, shot the place up and managed to get away.  Then there's that bit about him leaping like 15-20 feet in full gear from one roof to another or something.  Quarians can pounce jump apparently.

The muscle structure of quarian legs suggest more than just jumping. I guarantee you that Tali could outrun any individual on the Normandy.

It's possible, but they aren't quite digitigrade, which would make that a no-brainer.  I've speculated that quarians might have evolved as ambush hunters rather than endurance hunters like humanity.

Possibly. Looking at the shape of their feet and toes, it's possible that they were designed to grip say a branch very tightly, allowing a primitive quarian to hide in whatever taller vegetation Rannoch might have. Taller vegetation which would be located very close to a source of water, making it a perfect ambush location.

They're going to need somewhere to stash their civilians.  I suggest Rannoch.

I'm not going to get into another argument about how the Flotilla can still kick a lot of ass.

Suffice to say, it can.

Well, it's just speculation. It's true they don't have much of a fleet. Maybe they'll get to work and build some now that Wrex is pulling them together. :P

Are the krogan really a naval power?  I kind of assumed they're just used as ground troops/boarding parties.

I hate insects very much, and Rannoch doesn`t have them at all. Sounds like a proper home for me.

Fllet strategy in ME is based on crossing the T. The idea is to get your ships facing fromt and their ships broadside, making your opponent "cross the T" as it were. Mass Accelerators point forward. One way to do this is baiting ans switching, One force goes head to head with the enemy while another flanks around and hitrs em on their flank. Broadsides don't exist in the Mass Effect universe.

Cuz it got boring spaming powers destroying your opponents even on the hardest difficulty. Tech, biotic, didn't matter.

That's where the Biotic God got his name. Cuz Biotic = God in ME1 :P
And Chiktikka...I mean cmon

maybe, but they still couldnt have much kick to their fleet, because the citidel forbids them from making dreadnaughts, unless someone were to buy some for them...someone very influential and feared...
