I wrote a fic in which she gets unmasked. The way I interpreted it was that she didn't intend to stop Shepard, or even resist really, but she just could not help the defensive reaction of protecting her mask from being removed. 

But regardless, having her put her hands on Shepard's as he took off the mask was an absolutely perfect touch. <3

He's just doin his job. To be fair, he squashed the 3 other fake threads that spawned up when 3.0 ended.

"When 3.0 ended", I never actually checked to make sure it was dead.
