The dancing, whether good or bad, adds character. Shepard's only white, afterall

Agreed. Wouldn't seem to even be difficult to have a different animation for each LI. But then again, everyone dances the same in every bar sooo yeah

I'm not big on dancing, honestly. And it does seem awkward to have such a thing presented in a game like Mass Effect, unless they really emphasize the significance of a romance. But doing that may draw away from the plot, and the story arc is still the priority.

As for DLC for ME2, I'd love more references to Tali being with Shepard, just as Kasumi commented.

In ME3, I'd love to see references as well. Perhaps when you return to the Flotilla, Shala comments on Shepard and Tali holding hands
