Heh heh, same here.  Even turned myself into an Avatar in photoshop.
Still not over it.  But Tali is one of those long-term obsessions for me, I think.

Not needed, but I think a wedding would be a nice touch. Some think it's too sappy though.

I'd be all for it, but other ME players who do it more for the pew pew would dislike that idea

How do you figure? I'd argue that the people who romance Tali or any other LI to begin with already expects content that is not all pew pew.

It would be a fantastic touch, but like I said people who liek the pew pew more would most likely find it awkward and complain about how the ycould have use more of the reasources for the wedding on moar pew pew lazerzzzzzzzzz

*shrug* They could say the same thing about the romances in general. If they didn't want non-pew pew stuff, why enter the romance?

This is very true, I really jsut try to see from multiple sides and just not my own, so i try to predict people who want to be ****s. lol

I think we need some kind of indication from Tali herself that she loves Shepard, even though we know. Telling Shepard that directly or indicating indirectly is important. How the voice actor delivers it is also very important. I could see Tali going "I love you, Shepard." and most people melting at the delivery.

I don't think the line is really that necesarry because it is so obvious. It's not a bad thing to feature it, but as I said, it never seems true to what is going on, it just seemed to be put there just because. I would like to hear the line being dropped too, but they should not shoehorn it into ME3, they need to find some capacity for it.

I'm not sure your position. Are you saying you'd rather those resources go into the main story rather than the romance? They already put a lot of effort into the romances, hell, all of the romances in ME2 were unique with their own pre-suicide mission scene. Putting in some extra effort for the conclusion of romances that have been developing for two to three games seems fitting to me.

That's what I am saying. The romance in Mass Effect was so arbitrary and unfulfilling because they were all so parallel to one another. I hated that. While the romance in ME2 was shortened, the way each romance was written made up for the length. Each character had something unique to their romance, they actually seem like something more than just a character in a game. But if they do too much of it in ME3, it may seem like the point of the game was to find love rather than save the galaxy. And that is not what Mass Effect it about, romance is a feature, not the plot.

It really depends on the execution. We had dancing with LIs in ME1 for instance, yet it was a very simple thing and easily missed. The romances in ME1 and ME2 probably last less than 10 minutes in total length. I don't think adding a short wedding scene or a scene with Shepard living with Tali on Rannoch would be too much. As it is, the romances are very short, we only have the illusion of length because they are paced with intervals.
