I feel excitement at the idea, but it's the same kind that comes right before the huge drop of a rollercoster. It's going to be awesome, but it's gonna hurt. :P

Indeed.

Needs a title.

"Xen's Godawful Pilgrimage" doesn't really float with me.

It made me laugh, though.

I say wait for the end to give it a title. That's what I normally do.

You were never meant to see the piece at this stage, being just a sketch. I wanted to post it only after I worked on it on photoshop, that is why I have been so reluctant to post it as is. But you were all so eager to see it, so there it is.

I wonder what Xen's pilgrimage was. Is it the reason why she only plays with her toys? :( Thats so sad. All these years, she's been filling a hole in her heart with machines that can be programmed to love her but can't actually trully feel.

Well, she is kind of a tragic character. She strikes me as the kind of creepy that comes from never having friends ever. And she's a little beyond getting friends nowadays to fix her, so she makes these Machiavellian ploys and world domination schemes in vain efforts to get someone -anyone- to like her, because she's the bestest robot engineer there ever was dammit! Maybe all she really needed was a hug.

Except b!tch threatened mah robot buddy and even managed to creep out mah robot-hatin' girlfriend, so she gots to die.

I liked all of this, and I would definately give Xen a hug.

But killing her? That's extreme. Don't do that.

Beautiful poster for what's going to be just. . . a god-awful movie.

Also, I see no Tali on the poster. That's Strike 1, movie.

Also: Looking through the name I come across this: Simon Pegg and Leonard Nimoy.

Okay, movie. You have my attention again.

I picture her doing something heroic, but not particularly helpful to the Flotilla, on her pilgrimage.  She comes home and nobody cares and she can barely get a captain to accept her to a ship.

You know, I never really got the purpose of Quarian feet. They dont seem build for up-right walking. From their shape, I would guess they are used for gripping and tip-toeing to grab that fruit on that far away branch.

*sigh*
I liked it a lot better when everything was black and white: Xen was just a crazy woman and Liara was an obsessed murderer.

Gray. . . I don't know what to do with gray. . .

I also imagine something relating to the geth and friendship screwing her up.

Maybe she meets someone on Pligrimage, shows affection for the first time in her life, and he refuses to be with her because she's a quarian, or because he doesn't want to risk her health. The Talimance gone wrong. That's how I'd do it.

Of course, she'd blame the geth and become unfeeling for the rest of her life.

Aw, that is so awesome.  Love the effects on her "feet".  Although how Tali got in such a state makes me a sad panda...

Either she didn't know what she was drinking, or she commited Ophelia-style suicide...

On an unrelated note, Ive always dabbled wit noir but never wrote anything good enough. Got any tips?  All the noir stuff I know literrally came from Calvin and hobbes newspaper comic strips.

Her big goal in life is to re-enslave an entire sapient race for personal gain. Killing her isn't extreme, it's business.

Now killing her as a drive-by on a rocket surfboard over a sweet explosion? That would be extreme. Also, totally rad.
