I also imagine something relating to the geth and friendship screwing her up.

Maybe she meets someone on Pligrimage, shows affection for the first time in her life, and he refuses to be with her because she's a quarian, or because he doesn't want to risk her health. The Talimance gone wrong. That's how I'd do it.

Of course, she'd blame the geth and become unfeeling for the rest of her life.

The Talimance gone wrong... Interesting...

I liked all of this, and I would definately give Xen a hug.

But killing her? That's extreme. Don't do that.

Her big goal in life is to re-enslave an entire sapient race for personal gain. Killing her isn't extreme, it's business.

Now killing her as a drive-by on a rocket surfboard over a sweet explosion? That would be extreme. Also, totally rad.

As for me Camo, I would not give Xen a hug. I would rip her visor off and dump her on Omega. Cleanest place in the Galaxy.

And this is a prime example of the heart-shredding stuff that comes out of the Night Crew.

On an unrelated note, Ive always dabbled wit noir but never wrote anything good enough. Got any tips?  All the noir stuff I know literrally came from Calvin and hobbes newspaper comic strips.

I'll have to admit that what I'm doing is more than a little over-the-top.  Short, punchy sentences, dark, wry humor, cynicism, and slightly extravagant metaphors are basically what I'm shooting for.

And the feeling that no matter how hard you try, it's probably not going to amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.

I picture her doing something heroic, but not particularly helpful to the Flotilla, on her pilgrimage.  She comes home and nobody cares and she can barely get a captain to accept her to a ship.

*Takes notes.*

A Pilgrimage gift... Hmm...

I get the feeling I'm going to need anti-depressants after this story.

Then I'll be doing it right.

If I play my cards right, people might just think twice before they pull the trigger on her.

On a somewhat related note:

I've always thought that Benezia was an LI gone wrong.  She could have been a moderating influence on Saren, but instead got swept along into his personal nightmare.

I dunno, Xen has that thing about violating a person's body. With her dissecting her toys and geth and whatnot.  Maybe it was because Xen wanted too much of a "male role" if you get what I mean.

It's sad... I have all this build up negative energy... but I never really write with it. Angel of Death and Noir see a bit of it, but I've never really gone full out on my own here...

Hmmm...

Alright, I haven't really been paying attention here, but from the looks of things, Jones is writing a FF based on the life and times of Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh?

... I'm strangely intrigued. :blink::?

Happy Thoughts!!

“I can see why you hate these suits already.” He murmured before enveloping her in his arms. They stayed locked in such an embrace for what Tali assumed to be ages. Her mind, as it always did when she was with Shepard unsuited, was making it's wishes quite apparent as she delighted in this impromptu passion. She wanted to pounce on him.
Badly.

The thought is petrifying. I'm done with the negativity tonight. Be on steam/tzf.

Figures. You turn down any nook and cranny on this web, and you're bound to find something. It may not be what you're looking for, but it's always something.

She wasn't evil. Not really. She just got fell under the sway of the indoctrination.
She's a tragic figure, really.

So... was she not or something?

Because I just started a ME1 playthrough a little while ago and I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be kinda obvious her and Saren had a thing going. Some kind of horrible, indoctronation fueled thing going, but a thing nonetheless.

Well personally I don't have any fear of her dissecting other organics. She really only dissests geth because she doesnt' think they are a proper "race" like organics. to her they are still tools to be taken apart and repaired and reused.

Indeed.

From a young girl fascinated with the geth travelling on he Pilgrimage to a quarian suprememecist Admiral with a tendancy towards brutal experiments.

This is going to be fun.

Anime reference incoming:  She reminds me of the villain's pet Atlantean in the Escaflowne movie.  There's a scene at the end that gets me every time when the protagonist's girl meets the Atlantean and the Atlantean basically says that if she'd been better for the villain, the whole thing might never have happened.

Well, it wasn't stated outright or anything, I figured I'd phrase it as an opinion.

Escaflowne...I only watched that show cuz of that catgirl lol.  And the music was mind-blowing! Very grand, very orchestral.
