Self-exploration?

Hmm...

An interesting take on the Pilgrimage.

We'll have to see what Xen discovers about herself in that infinite space far from home.

I always imagined the idea behind the Pilgrimage was for the young quarian to understand their own perception of the galaxy they tread. The Pilgrimage gift simply being a Mac Guffin. The Pilgrimage being their journey, their experience.

A road to enlightenment, to use a metaphor.

Alright, I'm missing something important here. Who is Rin?

LOL.  Take it away, CC!

Rin'Leer nar Rayya and the young man there is David Bastian. Both are characters from my story Drifting.

Rin is also the main reason for the amount of crap I get here, and for good reason. ;)

OOH, is she that the Quarian that gets raeped by a Vorcha gang and dies?

Disliked? No.

On the contrary, I find her fascinating.

Her raw potential as a character is staggering.

I only hope I have the proper tools to help shape that potential.

I disagree her ideas, but I also found her to be a very fascinating character. You have quite a lot of freedom to work with, all we know of her is her political agenda and her fascination with utilitarian repurposing. That is more than enough for a resourceful writer.

Well then, Xen's Pilgrimage will be quite the affair.

Hopefully, I can do her justice.

Already watching Triumph of the Will for inspiration.

I think her character will focus on the strength of the quarian people, enduring against all the pain and suffering the galaxy has to offer.

With the promise of a glorious and bloody retribution.

Do you really want her playing the victim card?  She struck me as someone who thought the quarians could be on top just as easily as they could be on the bottom, what with her "largest army of synthetics" nonsense.

I do imagine her having some sense of malice, she did do some bizarre things with her childhood toys, or so she says. I think she is more focused on restoring the glory of the quarians in the same sense Okeer wanted for the krogans.

I just got that vibe from her.

I don't think anybody just wakes up one day with the ideas she has.

Maybe I'm not recalling her dialogue well, then.  I didn't think she said anything about the plight of the quarians, only that she had magnificent plans.  She seemed pretty contemptuous about the options the other Admirals represented.

I'd go so far as to suggest she didn't seem to care too much about the homeworld.

Magnificent plans with an army of geth at her command?

Sounds like plans for conquest to me.

I bet she experienced a lot of discrimination and or racial crap while on pilgrimage and decided enough is enough. Quarians had potential that was overlooked or dismissed as only cheap engineering labor. She sounds like a dangerous visionary.

Does anyone know what she says in her email if you reveal the evidence at trial?

Chora's Den was shut down after the attack on the Citadel.  They mention it somewhere in ME2.

No one knows. Why would anyone do that?
