And we have to wait for Who.

Right, and the Netherlands is the breeding/testing ground for all those crazy-ass reality shows. (Big Brother, The Phone, etc.)
But I don't give a flying fvck about those, so where's MY balance?

Does seem rather... less than lively in here. And it does indeed seem like a good conversation was missed. Have to say I'm on Rips side on that arguement.

I'll take this time to pimp my story out some more:

social.bioware.com/511958/blog/6086/

It has action, explosions... and most importantly for the 'mancers, it finally introduces Tali to the Normandy!

I was also sad that I had missd that conversation. But I'm not agreeing with Rip with that topic. I loved the ending in the Drifting. Even if the excellent writing did hurt me, leave me raging, especially at the end when Reiner escaped David's wrath. I don't think that there should have been ultimate ULB-ending that leaves everyone happy.
After all, for David, there just isn't any solution to it that leaves him happy. Even if he had bashed Reiner's skull against the wall. Tortured him, peeling his eyelids off with a pair of pliers. Have Reiner left to rot in a cell. Nothing of these would have made him happy. The only thing that did make him happy, was Rin.

Oh I don't disagree on the story, it was magnificent.
I just agree on the vegeance over forgiveness preference. If a beast like that wants forgiveness he can see if it waits on whatever is on the otherside. When you've seen the cruelty we can inflict on our own its hard to summon up the ability to care about the trash that inflicts the pain.

If what happened to David happened to me, I'd find the people who did it, torture them for weeks, maybe months, until I grew tired of it, then I'd shoot myself in the head. End of story. I can't live for myself. I'm not worth living for. I have to live for other people, and without that, I can't think of a reason to live. Game over.

Agreed. I feel like reading the FF just cuz of the fallout that followed, but since I agree with you, maybe I should wait until you write your own

Back on Maji while we were hunting Saren, we were fighting geth and I obliterated one with my shotgun at very close range. It's white circuitry fluids erupted all over me, and Shepard and Chief Williams started to chuckle. I laughed with them until they told me of the other white fluid popular among humans. I wasn't amused, but they resumed laughing. That night, I released a small varren into Shepard and Ashley's quarters for revenge. I had only planned on it scaring them, and it did, but they also contracted scale itch. I learned revenge is bittersweet that day, and they learned not to mess with Tali'Zorah nar Rayya.

This, good sir, is a pure win. And this reminds me of the idea about Paragon Shep / Renegade Tali pairing.

You know, when I play Paragon, especially in ME1, I get that Paragon/Renegade feeling like you said. Makes the playthroughs more interesting. Not nearly as interesting as the differences between Paragon and Renegade in Jack's romance, but overall during the game, my Shepard is pretty much a dumb good guy and Tali really make's me feel that way.

And yes, Talitude is one of many Taliterms, some indirectly.

See I just think of that as 'mischevious'.

I hear renegade and I think Tali kicking a guy in the knee to drop him down and placing the still hot barrel of his shotgun against his neck, telling him to give her the info they need before she turns his face inside out.

Tali IMO seems like a character that could be very renegade. Not evil, but end-justify-the-means type. But only if you influence her. I heard of older Bioware games (Jade Empire? Kotor? Not sure) that did this only on a far grander scale.

On the other side, Tali reaks of the mischevious type, obviously. It's in the story, dialogue and especially in Liz's voice acting. Playing ME1 over again, it's truly incredible.

I mean when on the Alarei, Para-Shepard may tell Tali that quarians should stop thinking about reclaiming the Rannoch, and not to throw her life away in a war she doesn't need. And to me, Tali's response to that is more or less on renegade side.

And in ME1, when talking about geth, Shepard can comment that he didn't feel sorry for quarians as they tried to pull off the genocide on geth.

Para-shep + rene-tali would create interesting conflicts between them two. Shep sees a sapient species and Tali just want to see them burn, no matter what.
