Tali closed her eyes and took a deep cleansing breath, trying to calm her frazzled nerves. She felt like a complete and utter idiot. “What could I possibly be suggesting?” She grumbled as she ran her fingers angrily across the keys in front her “Keelah, what kind of selfish, impulsive…Ugh! What is wrong with me?!” Indeed, what had she been thinking; dropping that on him when he had enough on his plate keeping the crew from killing one another while simultaneously trying to organize a strike against the Collectors. It was stupid, more than that, it was beyond selfish.
Which made that fact that some part of her brain actually liked the idea even more unforgivable.
She shook her head to break that train of thought. This was ridiculous, she had been running a fever and it made her a delirious. She said some things she shouldn’t have, things that she didn’t really mean and should have been left unsaid. That was all there was to it, she would explain it to him the next time he come down to talk. Knowing him, they’d probably have a good laugh about it and it would never be brought up again.
